Securities and Exchange Board of India has invited applications from Indian citizens for SEBI Recruitment 2016 for Officers Grade A belonging to Persons with Disabilities (PWD) – Visually Handicapped (VH) and Hearing Handicapped (HH) category for the post of Officer Grade A – General, Official Language and IT Stream. SEBI reserves the right to fill up the post or not to fill up the post at all

Educational Qualifications

For General: Candidates should possess Masters Degree in Economics/ Commerce/ MBA/ Post Graduation Degree in Management with 50% marks in aggregate CA/CFA/CSI/ICWA

Official Languages: Candidates should possess Master’s Degree in Hindi with 50% in the aggregate with English as one of the subjects at Bachelor’s Degree level or Master’s Degree in Sanskrit/English /Economics/Commerce with 50% in the aggregate with Hindi as a subject at Bachelor’s Degree level

For IT: Candidates should possess 55% in Engineering (electrical / electronics / electronics and communication engineering/information technology /computer science) / Master’s degree in Computers Application/55% in any discipline in graduation with post graduate qualification (minimum two years duration) in computers / information technology

Pay Scale

The incumbent will be on a scale of pay of Officer Grade-A in the scale of Rs 17100-1000 (11)-28100- EB-1000(4)-32100-1100(1) 33200

Presently, the gross emolument including Grade Allowance, Special Allowance, Dearness Allowance, Family Allowance, Local Allowance etc. at Mumbai at the minimum of this scale is approx Rs 76,000/- pm without accommodation and Rs 46,000/- pm with accommodation

Mode of Selection: Candidates will be selected based on online examination & interview
