AIESL announces 961 Aircraft Technician Posts Recruitment 2016

Air India Engineering Services Limited (AIESL) has issued a notification for the recruitment of 961 Aircraft Technician vacancies on fixed term employment basis

Air India Engineering Services Limited (AIESL) is an Air Maintenance Repair & overhaul Organisation Approved by DGCA

Eligible candidates can apply online from 20th Aug to 30th September 2016 and send hard copy of application on or before 31st October 2016

Total No. of Posts: 961 Posts

Name of the Posts: Aircraft Technician

1. General: 489 Posts
2. OBC: 258 Posts
3. SC: 143 Posts
4. ST: 71 Posts

Age Limit: Candidates age should not be above 28 years for General, not above 31 years for OBC & not above 33 years for SC/ ST as on 01-07-2016. The upper age limit of 28 years is relaxed to the Ex-servicemen candidates.

Reservation and concessions/relaxation to SC/ST/OBC/Ex-Servicemen candidate would be as Govt. Directives in this regard

Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess AME Diploma/ Certificate in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering from institutions approved by DGCA under Rule 133B with 60% marks/ equivalent grade

Candidates from DGCA approved AME Training Institute as per current list are eligible (or)

For Ex-servicemen: Successful completion of Group 1 related equivalent qualification of Diploma in Engineering for Airframe / Engine/Electrical/Instrument/Radio trades conducted by the Indian Air force, which are acceptable as qualification by DGCA for fulfilling the eligibility requirement for BAMEL exam

Selection Process: Selection of candidates is based on the performance in the written examination and performance in the personal interview

Pay Scale: Rs.15000/- during training period and Rs.17680/- after training

Application Fee: Rs.1000/- for the general candidates, no fee will be required for the Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and Ex-Servicemen. Fee should be paid through the online SBI Bank Challan
