IBPS Clerical CWE-VI Recruitment 2016 for 19789 clerical jobs in Banks

Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) announces Common Written Exam IBPS Clerical CWE-VI 2016 for recruitment of 19789 clerical bank jobs by the participating organisations. The preliminary test is scheduled on November 26 & 27, December 3 & 4 while the main exam is on December 31, 2016 and January 1, 2017.

IBPS conducts CWE every year to select candidates for different Public Sector banks and financial Institution. IBPS Clerical CWE-VI will be an online examination to be conducted in two phases. After clearing the examination, the shortlisted candidates will have to subsequently appear for an Interview to be conducted by the Participating Organisations and Nodal Banks.

The preliminary test will consist of 100 questions to be attempted in 1 hour’s time with subjects including English language, numerical ability and reasoning ability. However, the main exam will have 200 questions with total of 2 hours time to write. There will be questions of reasoning, English language, quantitative aptitude, general awareness and computer knowledge. For every wrong answer there will be a negative marking of 0.25 in both the written examinations.
