Bihar Staff Selection Commission BSSC Recruitment 2016

Bihar Staff Selection Commission has published a notification for BSSC Recruitment 2016 for 7000 ANM Posts. The recruitment will be made for 7000 Auxiliary Nursing Midwifery (ANM) Vacancies. Eligible candidates may apply online from 24th February 2016 to 15th March 2016

Pay Scale

The candidate after appointment as ANM will be paid under the Pay Scale from Rs.5200/- to Rs.20200/- with Grade Pay Rs.2400/-

Age Limit

The candidates should have attained a minimum age of 21 years and should not have crossed the max age limit of 37 years as on 01st August-2015. However, the age relaxation in upper age limit will be applicable for candidates belonging to respective identified categories (SC, ST, BC, EBC, WBC, PWD, Ex-Servicemen, etc.)

Educational Qualifications

The applicant must have passed Assistant Nurse and Midwifery Course from any institution recognized by Indian Nursing Council. The candidates should possess a ANM course completion certificate in this effect

Selection Procedure:

The selection will be made on the basis of career assessment, experience, higher qualification and Interview as per the discretion of the State Health Department. The weightage will be as follows:

(a) ANM Course marks: 50%

(b) Higher Degree qualification: 10%

(c) Experience in Bihar Government Hospital: 05% for 1 year of experience and maximum 25%

(d) Interview: 15%

Exam Fee

Candidates belonging to General/BC/EBC category should deposit Rs.750/- only and candidates belonging to SC/ST category should deposit Rs.200/- in the mode of Bank Challan in State Bank of India

The candidates are advised to keep the copy of the Application Form with the copy of fee payment receipt for future reference. No hard copy of the application is required to be sent to the SSC at this moment. One must refer to official Advertisement
