TANGEDCO invites applications from eligible candidates to fill up their 375 Assistant Engineer vacancies through TNEB Assistant Engineer Notification 2016. TNEB Assistant Engg Recruitment Notification 2016 (TANGEDCO Chennai) has been announced.

Also candidates registered in Employment exchange in Chennai and various Districts of Tamil Nadu and Candidates who have undergone one year Graduate Apprenticeship Training under the Erstwhile TNEB/TANGEDCO/TANTRANSCO are eligible to apply through On-Line for the above notification

Last Date for Online Submission of Applications: 11th January 2016

Last Date for Payment of Fees, through Canara Bank/India Bank: 13th January 2016

Date of Written Exam for Asst. Engineer (Electrical, Mechanical, Civil): 31st January 2016 (Forenoon 10.00 am to 12.00 pm, 2 hrs)

Pay Scale: Selected applicants will get monthly salary of Rs 10,100 – 34,800 + Rs 5100/- Grade Pay

Eligibility Criteria

Qualification: Aspirants should possess Degree in Engineering (EEE, ECE, EIE, CSE, IT, Mechanical, Production, Industrial, Manufacturing Civil) (or) A pass in AMIE (Selection A & B) under Electrical/ Mechanical/Civil Engineering Branch)

Age Limit (as on 01st Jul 2015): Applicants age should be Minimum 18 years and Maximum 30 years (Age relaxation applicable for reserved category candidates)

Selection Procedure:

Eligible candidates selected based on the written test and Interview

Exam Fee: Candidates need to pay application fee for OC, BCO, BCM, MBC/DC candidates Rs.500/- and SC/ST/SCA/PWD candidates Rs.250/-
