High Court of Madhya Pradesh invites applications for MP Higher Judicial Service (Entry Level) Direct Recruitment Examination 2014. Recruitment of these posts and conditions of service will be governed by the Madhya Pradesh Uchchatar Nyayik Seva Niyam, 1994
The number of vacancies may vary depending upon the requirement of the High Court
The notification said, all candidates who are not bonafide domicile of MP will be considered as candidates of unreserved category irrespective of their category in their own state
The candidates eligible for the post can apply through prescribed format before 30th April 2014
Numbers of Vacancies to the Post, Category – wise are as under
Unreserved: 42 posts
Other Backward Class: 11 posts
Schedule Caste: 12 posts
Schedule Tribe: 12 posts
No. of Posts: 77 vacancies
It is made clear that all candidates who are not bonafide domicile of State of Madhya Pradesh shall be treated as Unreserved category irrespective of their categories in their own States and they are required to fill up their category as Unreserved (UR) in the application forms and where ever required during Process of Examination and Selection

No person shall be eligible for appointment to the post of District Judge (Entry Level) in Higher Judicial Service by direct recruitment from Bar unless:
a) He/she is citizen of India
b) He/she has attained the age of 35 years and has not attained the age of 48 years, as on 01st Jan 2014
Note: Candidates must have been born on or after 01st Jan 1966 but before 01st Jan 1979
c) He/she has practiced as an Advocate for not less than 7-years as on 01st Jan 2014 and
d) He/she has good character and is of sound health and free from any bodily defects, which render him, unfit for such appointment
Selection Procedure: The selection procedure will be conducted in three stages:
a) Online Preliminary/ Screening Exam
b) Main Written exam and
b) Interview
Candidates have to apply online at the website along with scanned photograph and signature. Payment can be made through Internet Banking or Credit cards
Candidates can also make apply through authorized kiosks available at MP Online www.mponline.gov.in
Candidates have to take a print of their admit cards generated by MP online about 15 days prior to the examination
i) By Self Using Internet: Candidates are required to log on website of www.mpoline.gov.in and to click on “Citizen Services” icon, then click on drop up icon, then click M.P. H.J.S. (Direct Recruitment from Bar) Exam-2014 prompting below “Services”
No the candidate can see the “Advertisement”, click on Advertisement/Instructions and read carefully instructions contained in Advertisement/Instructions, thereafter click on “Continue to view Application Format and after filling for required information click on “browse” button to upload signature and recent Colour Photos
Mode of Payment: After completing form and uploading photo and signature the candidates are required to make payment by Credit Card, or Internet Banking
After making payment successfully, a computerized receipt containing details of portal charge and Examination Fee will be generated, the candidates are required to take a print out of such receipt and keep safely with them for further requirement if and when needed
Note: If any charge more that total Examination Fee (including Portal Charge) as mentioned below, is demanded by authorized Kiosk Owner/Operator or any problem in filling/submitting online application occurs, the complaint may be made to Madhya Pradesh Online Limited, Nirupam Shopping Mall, 2nd Floor, Ahmadpur, Hoshangabad Road, Bhopal on Telephone No 0755-4019401 to 4019410
Travelling Expenses: No travelling expenses or allowances will be payable to any candidate for appearing in Preliminary Examination, Main Examination or Interview
Examination Fees shall be Rs.1000/- for Unreserved (UR) Candidates and Rs.800/- for candidates of Reserved Categories (OBC/SC/ST candidates), including portal charges (Rs.600/- per candidate) of MP-Online
Admit Cards: Admit Cards/Hall Tickets at each stage of Selection Process (Online Preliminary Exam, Main Exam and Interview) shall be generated by MP-Online Ltd. on its website and the candidates shall have to receive the same by downloading and taking print-out of Admit Card
It shall be ensured that Admit Cards are generated by M.P. Online about 15 days prior to the date of Examination
The Main Examination shall be held only at Jabalpur, on two consecutive days, as under
Date: 23rd Aug 2014 (09.30 am to 12.30 pm) (1st Paper); (02.30 pm to 05.30 pm) (2nd Paper)
Date: 24th Aug 2014 (09.30 am to 12.30 pm) (3rd Paper); (02.30 pm to 05.30 pm) (4th Paper)
Opening Date for Registration: 28th March 2014
Closing Date for Registration: 30th April 2014
Date of Preliminary Examination: 06th July 2014 (Sunday)
Date of Main Examination: 23rd August 2014 and 24th August 2014
