Junior Research Fellow announced by the University of Pune

Junior Research Fellow announced by the University of Pune, School of Energy Studies, Pune. Two vacancies for the position of JRF have been notified. The position will be on temporary basis and not permanent at the university under the National Renewable Energy Fellowship program under Ministry of New and Renewable Energy, GOI, New Delhi.

The posts will be made available for one each in the Open category and the other for SC. The duration of the appointment will be two years from the date of appointment and may be one year as per the MNRE rules.

Eligibility for JRF at University of Pune, 2014

Candidates applying for the position must have a M. Sc. or M. Tech degree in Physics/ Electronic Science/ Chemistry Instrumentation Science. It would be desirable if the candidate has a year or two of laboratory research experience in the field of concentrating solar photovoltaic (SPV) or have at least two research papers published in referred journals in the field of Energy.

Amount of Fellowship at the University of Pune, 2014

M. Sc candidates selected would be paid Rs. 16,000 PM + HRA and the M. Tech candidate will be paid Rs. 18,000 PM + HRA.

Interview for JRF at University of Pune, 2014

Those interested can attain the walk-in-interview on March 28, 2014, a Friday, along with hand written application along with his/ her bio-data, photocopies of mark sheets and other relevant documents. The interviews will be conducted at The Director’s Office, School of Energy Stiudies, University of Pune, Pune 411 007. The candidates hace been requested to reach the venue before 10:45 a.m. and no TA/DA or conveyance will be reimbursed to the candiadte appearing for the interview.
