PSU JOBS NOTIFICATION (THROUGH GATE 2017)

Public Sector Undertaking or more commonly known as PSUs are government owned corporations or a company in which Central or State Government has more than 51 per cent shares. These Government companies are run like private companies and share their profits with the Government.

Often such company’s recruitment on the basis examinations and GATE is one such test where ones technical and general aptitude is tested and so the PSUs recruit on its basis. Some of the companies which recruit on the basis of GATE are IOCL, BHEL, NTPC, Power Grid, Indian Oil, etc.

All these Public sector companies recruit Engineer Trainee (ET) based on the GATE scores. Initially the candidates are shortlisted on the bases of the GATE scores and later group discussion and interviews follow.
