JIPMER Puducherry Recruitment  Post-JR (NPG) on Regular Basis 2013

Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research, Puducherry has proposed to fill up the post of Junior Resident (NPG) at this Institute on regular basis for a period of one year.

Junior Resident (NPG): 55 posts (UR: 30, OBC: 10, SC: 09, ST: 06)

Reservation for PH: 02 posts on horizontal reservation basis

Qualifications:

A registered medical graduate of a recognized university should have completed one year compulsory Internship

Vacancies may increase or decrease and appointment is subject to the matching of reservation of posts

Age:

No upper age limit

Categories of differently abled persons suitable for the job are as below:

OL-One leg affected (R and/or L); OA – One arm affected (R or L); Impaired reach; Weakness of grip; Ataxia

Persons suffering from not less than 40% of relevant disability shall alone be eligible for reservation

Pay:

The candidates will be paid B/Pay Rs.15600/- plus 5400/- GP (revised scale) per month with other allowances inclusive of NPA as admissible under rules

How to Apply:

Interested and eligible candidates may attend the written test/interview to be held on 23^rd October, 2013 (08.30 a.m.) at Bernard Theatre, First Floor, Institute Block, JIPMER, Puducherry-227206 alongwith filled in application in the prescribed format (appended) along with the following certificates in original and an attested copy thereof and a Demand Draft for Rs.500/– for General and OBC candidates and Rs.250/- for SC/ST candidates drawn in favor of Accounts Officer, JIPMER, Puducherry-06. No fee is payable by differently abled candidates

Age proof Certificate, MBBS degree with no. of attempts certificate, Medical council registration certificate, Internship completion certificate, latest SC/ST/OBC (Creamy Layer) certificate (format appended), if he/she belongs to SC/ST/OBC, issued by the Revenue Officer not below the rank of Thasildar

In case the certificate is in regional language, the English version of the certificate duly attested by a Gazetted Officer is also to be furnished, “No objection Certificate” from the present employer, if employed

Candidates who have already worked as JR (NPG) in any Central Govt. Hospital/Institution need not apply again

There will be a written Test (MCQ type) and Viva/Clinical/Practical Exam

The candidates are advised not to bring any political or other recommendations to influence their selection

Such candidates will be summarily rejected.
