Indian Army Announces job vacancy for Territorial Army Officer Posts 2014

Applications are invited from gainfully employed young men for an opportunity of donning the uniform and service the nation as Territorial Army Officers, based on the concept of enabling motivated young men to serve in a military environment without having to sacrifice their primary professions

Eligibility Conditions

Online male citizens of India and Ex-service officers who are medically fit

Age Limit: Candidates age limit should be 18 to 42 years as on 30th December 2014

Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess Graduation from any recognized university

Employment: Gainfully Employed in Central Govt/Semi Govt/ Pvt Firm/ Own business/Self Employed

Note: Serving Employees of Armed Forces/Police/Para Military Forces are not eligible

Selection Process: Candidates whose applications forms are found correct will be called for screening (written exam and interview), by a Preliminary Interview

Board (PIB), at the respective TA Group Headquarters

Successful candidates will further undergo a Service Selection Board (SSB) and Medical Board for final selection

Pay Scale:

Lieutenant: PB-3 Rs 15,600 – 39,100 with grade pay Rs.5400

Captain: PB-3 Rs 15,600 – 39,100 with grade pay Rs.6600

Major: PB-3 Rs 15,600 – 39,100 with grade pay Rs.6600

LT Colonel: PB-4 Rs 37,400 – 67,000 with grade pay Rs.8000

Colonel: PB-4 Rs 37,400 – 67,000 with grade pay Rs.8700

Brigadier: PB-4 Rs 37400-67000 with grade pay Rs.8900
