BSNL Jharkhand Recruitment of 50 Apprentice Trainees Posts notification out 2015

Applications are invited from the eligible candidates to be engaged to be engaged as Apprentice trainee under Clause 3 of Section 8 of Apprentice Act, 1961 in Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited, Jharkhand Telecom Circle, Ranchi

Definition: An “Apprentice” means a person who is undergoing Apprentice training in pursuance of a contract of apprenticeship

Educational qualification and Number of Seats:

 

1. Graduate Engineer Apprentice: 05 Posts

Educational qualification: The applicant must possess a B.E/B.Tech degree from recognized Engineering College/University in anyone of the following disciplines

1. Electronics
2. Electronics & Communication

iii. Computer Science

1. Information Technology
2. Diploma Holder Apprentice: 45 Posts

Educational qualification: The applicant must have Three years Engineering Diploma in anyone of the following disciplines

1. Electronics
2. Electronics & Communication

iii. Computer Science

1. Information Technology

Age Limit: To undergo Apprenticeship Training the minimum age limit is 14 Years and there is no upper age limit; however, the candidates between the ages of 14-18 years are not eligible to sign the Contracts, being the minor

Period of Training: The period of Apprentice Training will be limited to one year only

Reservation of Seats: The reservation for candidates belonging to SC/ST category will be as per Rules applicable for the State of Jharkhand

Stipend:

1. Graduate Engineer Apprentice – Rs 4984/month
2. Diploma Holder Apprentice – Rs 3542/month

Selection Criteria for BSNL Jharkhand 50 Apprentice Trainees Recruitment 2015:

As limited vacancies are available, eligible candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of merit in the academic examinations (i.e. BE/B.Tech/Diploma). The provisional selection shall be made from amongst the candidates on the basis of no. of seats, merit, reservation, etc

The envelope containing application form should be marked “Application for Graduate/Diploma Apprentices in BSNL”

Application received after 31st August 2015 will not be entertained or considered and BSNL will not be responsible for Postal delay if any
