NIFFT is registered as Society under the Societies Registration Act of 1860. The management of the Institute is vested with Board of Governors with Chairman at its apex and members representing Govt. of India (Ministry of HRD & industry), AICTE, Private and Public enterprises, technical and R & D organizations. During the last four decades NIFFT has earned a reputation as a leading institute for teaching, training, research & development, Consultancy and documentation and information retrieval services in metal casting and metal forming technology.

Recruitment for: Teaching (Assistant Professor, Associate Professor & Professor), No of Posts-57

Assistant Professor (Engineering and Technology)

Educational Qualification: A M. Tech. Degree with First Class at Bachelor’s or Master’s / equivalent degree in the appropriate branch of Engineering /Technology with a very good academic record throughout.

Desirable: Ph.D. Degree, Teaching, research, industrial and /or professional experience in a reputed organization, paper presented at Conference and /or in refereed journals.

Salary: PB-3 (Rs.15, 600-39,100/-+ AGP Rs. 6000/-)

Associate Professor (Engineering and Technology)

Educational Qualification: A Ph.D. Degree with First Class at Bachelor’s or Master’s / equivalent degree in the appropriate branch of Engineering /Technology with a very good academic record throughout.

Desirable: Research Publications in reputed journals, Patent filed/obtained, books and or technical reports, doctoral supervision and/ or supervising sponsored R&D projects.

Experience Required: At least Eight years of teaching/research/industrial experience in the relevant field/related areas at the level of Assistant Professor or equivalent, excluding the period spent for obtaining a PhDs degree.

Salary: PB-4 (Rs. 37,400-67,000/- + AGP Rs. 9,000/-)

Professor (Engineering and Technology)

Educational Qualification:Ph.D. Degree with First Class at Bachelor’s or Master’s / equivalent degree in the appropriate branch of Engineering /Technology with a very good academic record throughout.

Desirable: Research Publications in reputed journals, Patent filed/obtained, books and or technical reports. Ph.D Supervision, capacity to undertake / lead Sponsored R&D projects, consultancy and related activities.

Experience Required: At least ten years of teaching/research and/or industry experience in the relevant field/related areas out of which at least five years at the level of Associate Professor or equivalent.

Salary: PB-4 (Rs. 37,400 -67,000/- + AGP Rs.10, 000/-)

Assistant Professor (Science and Humanities)

Educational Qualification: A Ph.D. Degree with First Class at M.Sc. / M. A. / M. Tech. or equivalent in appropriate discipline with a very good academic record throughout.

Salary: PB-3 (Rs.15, 600-39,100/- + AGP Rs. 6000/-)

Associate Professor (Science and Humanities)

Educational Qualification: A Ph.D. Degree with First Class at M.Sc. / M. A. / M. Tech. or equivalent in appropriate discipline with a very good academic record throughout.

Desirable: Research Publications (minimum five numbers) in reputed journals, patent filed/obtained, books. Ph. D. supervisions and /or supervising sponsored R&D projects, contribution to educational innovation, design of new curricula and courses.

Experience Required: Atleast Eight years of teaching/research/industrial experience in the relevant field/related areas at the level of Assistant Professor or equivalent, excluding the period spent for obtaining a PhD degree.

Salary: PB-4 (Rs. 37,400-67,000/- + AGP Rs. 9,000/-)

Professor (Science and Humanities)

Educational Qualification: A Ph.D. Degree with First Class at M.Sc. / M. A. / M. Tech. or equivalent in appropriate discipline with a very good academic record throughout.
