Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) (Refineries Division) invites applications from Male Indian Nationals for recruitment of Non-Executive Posts (Junior Engineering Assistant-IV and Junior Control Room Operator-IV) in Grade -IV at IOCL Barauni Refinery, Bihar.

The notification for IOCL Recruitment 2016 for Diploma Engineers (Refineries Division) has been announced.

Name of the Posts

1. Jr. Engineering Assistant-IV (Production): 16 Posts
2. Jr. Engineering Assistant-IV (V & U)-Boiler: 09 Posts
3. Jr. Engineering Assistant-IV (Vandamp; U)-Operations/Jr. Engineering Assistant-IV (Electrical)/ Junior Control Room Operator-IV: 10 Posts
4. Jr. Engineering Assistant-IV (Fire & Safety): 03 Posts

Qualification & Experience

The prescribed qualification from govt. recognized Indian University/Institute as a regular full time course and the required aggregate percentage marks, experience as on 01st January 2016 for each post is given below:

1. Junior Engg Assistant-IV (Production): 3 years Diploma in Chemical/Refinery & Petrochemical Engineering or B.Sc (Maths, Physics, Chemistry or Industrial Chemistry) with minimum one-year of post qualification experience in operation (rotating shift)
2. Junior Engg Assistant-IV (Power & Utilities) Boiler: 3 years Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engg and possessing IInd class Boiler Competency Certificate; and No experience required for candidates possessing Diploma or Matric with ITI (Fitter) & holding IInd Class Boiler Competency Certificate
3. Junior Engg Assistant-IV (P&U)-Operations/Jr. Engg Assistant-IV (Electrical); and Jr. Control Room Operator-IV: 3 years Diploma in Electrical Engineering with minimum one-year of post qualification experience in operation/maintenance of Thermal Power Station /Power Generators/ Distribution Substations (LT & HT at 0.4 KV & 6.6 KV level or above respectively)
4. Junior Engg Assistant-IV (Fire & Safety): Matric plus Sub-Officers’ Course from NFSC Nagpur or Equivalent (Regular course) from any other recognized Institute and having Valid Heavy Vehicle Driving License with minimum one-year of post qualification experience

Age Limit

Minimum 18 years and maximum 26 years, as on 01st January 2016. Relaxation in age by 5 years for SC/ST candidates and 3 years for OBC candidates, for the posts reserved for them

Age relaxation to the extent of period of experience notified will be given to the candidates of all categories, in addition to age relaxation otherwise applicable for SC/ST/OBC; and age relaxation for Ex-Servicemen as per govt

Selection Process

Written test, Trade Test (wherever relevant) & Personal Interview.

Tentative dates for Written Tests at Begusarai (BIHAR): For Post Code 01on 21st February 2016 (Sunday) & For Post Code 02, 03 & 04 on 28th February 2016

Duration for the write test will be for three hours. Only eligible candidates shall be called of Written Tests and your names shall be placed on our website in advance

Application Fee: A non-refundable fee for the Rs.100/- through Crossed DD drawn in favour for the “Accounts Officer, Barauni Refinery” payable at Begusarai (BIHAR); SC/ST/ Ex-Servicemen candidates are exempted from payment for the Application Fee
