Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (Tamil Nadu PSC) invited applications for the posts of Research Assistant in Evaluation and Applied Research Department. The eligible candidates can apply to the post through the prescribed format on or before 14th January 2016. The notification for Tamil Nadu PSC Recruitment 2015 for Research Assistants has been announced.
Name of the Post: Research Assistant
Total Vacancies: 14 Posts [GT-04, BC-04, MBC/DC-03, SC-02, SC (A)-01]
Pay Scale: Rs.9300-34,800/- (PB2) + Rs.4400/- Grade Pay
Candidates should possess the following or its equivalent qualification on the date of Notification viz. 16-12-2015
Candidates must possess a First Class Post-Graduate degree in Economics or Econometrics or Statistics or Business Administration or Mathematics or Social Work or Sociology or Anthropology or Agricultural Economics or Public Administration
Knowledge of Tamil: Candidates should possess adequate knowledge of Tamil on the date of this Notification viz. 16.12.2015
Age Limit: 18-30 years (No upper age limit for SCs, SC(A)s, STs, MBCs/DCs, BCs (OBCM)s, BCMs and DWs of all castes)
Selection Procedure:
The selection of the candidates will be done on the basis of the interview/exam conducted by the organization. Final selection will be made on the basis of total marks obtained by the candidates at the Written Exam and Oral Test taken together and subject to the rule of reservation of appointments
