WBSEDCL announces Recruitment of Asst. Engineer through GATE-2017 Score

West Bengal State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (WBSEDCL) (A Government of West Bengal Enterprise) has released a notification for the recruitment of Assistant Engineer (Electrical) and Assistant Engineer (Civil) through Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE-2017). Applicants can apply online from 01st September 2016 to 04th October 2016 for GATE 2017.

Only GATE-2017 Score is valid for the recruitment exercise in WBSEDCL under this advertisement. Score from GATE-2016 or from any previous GATE examination is not valid

Scale of Pay: Rs.15600-39100/- with Grade Pay Rs.5400/-

Age Limit: Minimum age limit is 18 years and maximum 27 years as on 1st January 2016. Maximum age is further relaxable upto 3 years for OBC, 5 years for SC & ST candidates of West Bengal only and 10 years for Person with Disability

Education Qualification for WBSEDCL Recruitment 2016

a) Assistant Engineer (Electrical): Candidate must hold Full Time 04 years’ B.E/B.Tech/B.Sc. (Engineering) Degree in Electrical Engineering/ Electrical & Electronics (Combined) /Power Engineering /B.Sc. (H) in Physics with 3 years’ B. Tech in Electrical Engineering from any Institute approved by AICTE/IITs
b) Assistant Engineer (Civil): Candidate must hold Full time 04 years B.E/ B. Tech/B.Sc. (Engg) Degree in Civil Engineering/Construction Engineering from any Institute approved by AICTE/IITs

How to Apply for WBSEDCL Recruitment 2016

Candidates can apply for GATE-2017 from 01st September 2016 to 04th October 2016

GATE 2017 Online Examination will be conducted in February 2017 and results will be announced on 27th March 2017.Candidates have to apply ONLINE separately for GATE-2017 and WBSEDCL. WBSEDCL’s ONLINE application process will start after 05th January 2017 at WBSEDCL’s website www.wbsedcl.in
