WBSEDCL is looking for young, dynamic, talented and technology driven individuals to join us in Powering Bengal. Electrical Engineers/Power Engg./Electrical and Electronics Engineers intending to join WBSEDCL as Assistant Engineer (Electrical) are required to appear for Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE-2016)

Only GATE-2016 score is valid for this recruitment exercise in WBSEDCL under this advert. Score from GATE-2015 or from any previous GATE Exam is not valid

WBSEDCL Recruitment – Assistant Engineers Details

Name of the Post: Assistant Engineer (Electrical)

Number of Vacancies: 50 Nos. (Reservation as per norms)

Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 27 years as on 01st January 2015. Upper age relaxation of 3 years for OBC (A) and OBC (B) and 5 years for SC and ST candidates of West Bengal only

Educational Qualification: Full Time 4 years’ B.E/B.Tech/B.Sc (Engineering) Degree in Electrical Engineering/ Electrical and Electronics (Combined)/B.Sc (H) in Physics with 3 years’ B.Tech in Electrical Engineering/Power Engineering/ Bachelor’s degree holders in Electrical/ Power/ Electrical and Electronics Engineering/ Technology (3 years after Diploma in Engineering/ Technology) from any Institute approved by AICTE/IITs

Final year candidates are also eligible to apply

Selection Process: Selection of the candidates will be on basis of GATE 2016

Pay Scale: Rs 15,600/- to Rs 39,100/- and Grade Pay – Rs 5400/-
