VSSC Recruitment 2016 – 109 Graduate Apprentice Vacancies

Govt. of India, Dept. of Space, Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre (VSSC) has issued notification for recruitment to Graduate Apprentices (BE / B.Tech & B.LISc Holders) for 109 vacancies for the training year 2016-17 under the Apprentices Act, 1961 in various disciplines

Candidates may attend walk-in-interview on 22nd October 2016 & 05th November 2016 from 05.00 AM to 03.00 PM

1. Aeronautical/Aerospace Engineering: 06 Posts
2. Chemical Engineering: 05 Posts
3. Civil Engineering: 04 Posts
4. Computer Science/Engineering: 12 Posts
5. Electrical Engineering: 04 Posts
6. Electronics Engineering: 30 Posts
7. Mechanical Engineering: 29 Posts
8. Metallurgy: 04 Posts
9. Production Engineering: 05 Posts
10. Library & Information Science: 10 Posts

Training & Stipend: Training period will be of one year from the date of joining and candidate will be given stipend of Rs.5000 per month

 

Eligibility for VSSC Recruitment 2016

Age Limit: Maximum 30 years as on 5th November 2016 which is relaxable up to 33 years for Other Backward Classes (OBC), 35 years for SC/ST and 10 years for PWD candidates as per Govt of India rules

Education Qualification

1. a) Library & Information Science: Candidate must possess Bachelor’s Degree with First Class B.LiSc with minimum 60% Marks
2. b) For Other Disciplines: Candidate must hold First Class Engineering Degree (Four/ Three year duration) in concerned discipline with minimum 65% marks granted by an Indian University

Selection Process: Selection will be made through performance in Interview

Firstly Candidates should register their names at Board of Apprenticeship Training (Southern Region) Chennai through website www.sdcentre.org

Eligible candidates may attend Walk-in-Interview with self attested copies of documents in proof of Degree qualification, Date of Birth, Experience, Caste, Disability certificate etc along with Application arranged by Board of Apprenticeship Training (BOAT), Chennai at Younus College of Engineering & Technology, Pallimukku, Vadakkevila P.O. Kollam Dist., Kerala on 22nd October 2016 (Saturday) & 05th November 2016 (Saturday) between 09.00 hrs to 15.00 hrs
