1) Assistant Engineer (Works) in National Institute of Fisheries Post Harvest Technology and Training, Cochin, Department of Animal Husbandry, Dairying & Fisheries, Ministry of Agriculture

Qualifications: Candidates should have a degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering from a recognized University or Institute

Experience: Candidates should hold two years’ experience as a supervisor or as junior engineer in execution of civil engineering works in a central or state government department

Age Limit: Candidates should not be more than 30 years

Experience: They should hold five years’ experience in copying deciphering and editing of inscriptions in the concerned discipline

Qualifications: Candidates should have a recognised MBBS degree

  1. i) A recognized MBBS degree qualification included in the First or the Second Schedule or Part-II of the Third Schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. Holders of educational qualifications included in Part-II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions stipulated in sub-section (3) of section 13 of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956
  2. ii) Post Graduate degree or Diploma in the concerned speciality or Super-speciality mentioned in Section-A or Section-B in Schedule-VI i.e. Doctor of Medicine (Anaesthesiology); Master of Surgery (Anaesthesiology); or Diploma in Anaesthesiology

Note-I: The Medical qualifications possessed by the candidate should have the recognition of the Medical Council of India

Note II: Any Post Graduate Degree or Diploma awarded by any Indian Universities, included in or excluded from, the Schedules to the

Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956), consequent to recognition granted or withdrawn by Government of India as per provisions of the said Act shall be deemed to have been included or excluded accordingly from the Schedule-VI

Note III: The Post-graduate Medical qualifications awarded by India Universities must have been included in the Schedules to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956) for the purpose of Schedule VI

Note IV: In the case of holder of Doctorate of Medicine (D.M.) or Magister Chirurgiae (M.Ch) qualification of five years’ duration, the period of Senior Post Graduate residency rendered in the last part of the said of Doctorate of Medicine (DM) or Magister Chirurgiae (M.Ch) shall be counted towards requirement of experience

Qualifications: Candidates applying for this post are required to hold a degree in Law or LLB and unless he has been a member of a State Judicial Service for a period of not less than thirteen years or has held a superior post in the legal dept of a State for a period of not less than thirteen years or a Central Govt servant who has had experience in legal affairs for not less than thirteen years or is a qualified legal practitioner

Note-I: The ‘qualified legal practitioner’ in relation to appointment to a duty post in Grade II by direct recruitment means an advocate or a pleader who has practiced as such for at least thirteen years, or an attorney of the High Court of Bombay or Calcutta who has practiced as such attorney and an advocate for a total period of at least eleven years

Instructions & Additional Information to Candidates for Recruitment by Selection

Citizenship

A Candidate must be either: (a) a citizen of India, or (b) a subject of Nepal, or (c) a subject of Bhutan, or (d) a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before 1st Jan 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India, or (e) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka or East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India. Provided that a candidate belonging to categories (b), (c), (d) and (e) above shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Govt of India

Note: The application of a candidate in whose case a certificate of eligibility is necessary, may be considered by the Commission and, if recommended for appointment, the candidate may also be provisionally appointed subject to the necessary certificate being issued in his favour by the Govt of India

No “fee exemption” is available to OBC male candidates and they are required to pay the full prescribed fee

Applications without the prescribed fee would not be considered and summarily rejected

No representation against such rejection would be entertained

After submitting the Online Recruitment Application (ORA), the candidates are required to take out a printout of the finally submitted Online Recruitment Application
