Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation Limited (UPPCL), Uttar Pradesh Power Transmission Corporation Ltd. (UPPTCL) has published a notification for the recruitment of 226 Junior Engineer Electrical (Trainee) vacancies. Eligible candidates may apply online from 08th October 2017 to 31st October 2017

Age Limit
Candidate’s age limit should be between 18 – 40 years as on 01st July 2017. Age relaxation is applicable as per norms
Relaxation in Upper Age Limit: Apprenticeship training under Apprenticeship Act, 1960 – Actual period, subject to maximum 24 months, (ii) SC/ST & OBC (non-creamy layer) of Uttar Pradesh domicile 5 years (iii) Ex-servicemen who had served a minimum of 5 years in Armed Forces of India
Candidates should possess Three years Diploma examination in Electrical Engineering, thorough knowledge of Hindi (Devnagri script)
If the candidates has not has not passed High school or equivalent examination in Hindi, he/she has to clear an exam conducted by the Registrar, Department Exam Govt. of U.P within 3 years of joining
A candidates must have passed three years Diploma Examination in Electrical Engineering awarded by Pravidhik, Shiksha Parishad, Uttar Pradesh or a Diploma, equivalent thereto, recognized by the Govt. or;
Three years All India Diploma Exam in Electrical Engineering conducted by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Govt. of India
Mode of Selection
Selection will be based on Written Exam only. Computer Based Test (CBT) will be held at Allahabad, Varanasi, Gorakhpur, Agra, Kanpur, Bareilly, Lucknow, Ghaziabad, and Meerut cities
Electricity Service Commission, however, have the right to cancel any of the Exam City/Center and/or add some other cities/centers depending upon the response, administrative feasibility, or any force-majeure conditions etc
Pay Scale
The selected candidates will get a monthly salary of Rs. 9300-34800/- + Rs.4200/- grade pay
Application Fee
Candidates should pay Rs.600/- for SC/ ST, Rs.900/- for OBC, Rs.10/- for PWD (Processing Fee only), Rs.900/- for Candidates other than state of U.P through ATM cum Debit/ Credit Card/ Net Banking or SBI bank Challan form payable at State Bank of India
