TFRI releases 14 Junior Research Fellow & Field Assistant Posts for Recruitment 2016
The Tropical Forest Research Institute (TFRI), Jabalpur has issued a notification inviting applications from eligible, interested candidates for recruitment to the post of Junior Research Fellow and Field Assistant, on a temporary basis. Interested candidates may walk in interview on 14th July 2016

Name of the Post
Age Limit
Candidate’s age should be Upper age limit for Junior Research Fellow 28 years and Field Assistant 25 years as on 01st June 2016
Relaxable up to 5 years in the case a candidates belonging to SC/ST/Women, Physically Handicapped and 3 years for OBC applicants
Educational Qualification
For Junior Research Fellow: Candidates should have completed First Class M.Sc. in Forestry! Agriculture/Biotechnology/Botany
Desirable Qualification: Experience in field work. Research experience related to subject area relevant to the project. Working knowledge of computer (MS office etc) National Eligibility Test (UGC/CSIR/ICAR) qualified candidate will bedizen preference
For Field Assistant: First Class B.Sc. with Forestry/ Botany/Biotechnology as one of the subject
Desirable Qualification: Experience of field work. Laboratory experience in handling and processing of plant samples for analysis/estimation; basic knowledge of computer
Selection Process
Candidates will be selected on the basis of Interview conducted by Tropical Forest Research Institute
Pay Scale
Junior Research Fellow: The selected candidate will draw a consolidated salary of Rs 12000/- per month.
Field Assistant: The selected candidate will draw a consolidated salary of Rs 7000/- per month
Application Fee: No fee.
How to Apply
Eligible interested candidates are required to appear for walk-in interview for Junior Research Fellows on 14th July 2016 at 10.00 AM on wards and for Field Assistant on 15th July 2016 at 10.00 AM on wards in the Office of the Director along with their applications giving full bio-data including address for communication with attested copies of degree certificates and one passport size photograph etc. which may be produced at the time of interview.
No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview
