The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has published a notification at ssc.nic.in for Upper Division Clerks Grade Limited Departmental Competitive Examination 2016 for making additions to the Select List of Upper Division Grade of various Services/Cadres.Last Date for submission of application is 31st October 2016.

A Limited Departmental Competitive Exam will be held by “The Staff Selection Commission at Delhi, Allahabad, Kolkata, Mumbai, Chennai, Bangalore, Guwahati Chandigarh and Raipur on 3rd December 2016 for Selection of Posts

Eligibility for SSC UDC recruitment 2016

Any permanent, regular or temporary, regularly appointed person of the Lower Division Grade of the Central Secretariat Clerical Service, Armed Forces Headquarters Clerical Service, Railway Board Secretariat Clerical Service, Election Commission of India Clerical Service and Central Hindi Directorate, Central Vigilance Commission, Ministry of External Affairs and Central Administrative Tribunal, Ministry of Environment and Forests who satisfies on crucial date the following conditions shall be eligible to appear at the exam.

Age Limit

Maximum 50 years as on 01st August 2016; upper age limit is further relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST

Selection Process

Selection will be made through Computer Based/Written Examination (Paper-I of Objective Multiple Choice Type & Paper-II of descriptive type)

Examination will be conducted on 03rd December 2016 at Delhi, Allahabad, Kolkata, Mumbai, Chennai, Bangalore, Guwahati Chandigarh and Raipur

Eligible Candidates can send application in the prescribed form (available on www.ssc.nic.in) on A-4 size paper to Regional Director (Northern Region), Staff Selection Commission, Block No.12, C.G.O. Complex, Lodhi Road, New Delhi-110504 on or before 31st October 2016, 05.00 PM and from candidates residing abroad and from Andaman Nicobar Islands, Lakshadweep by 07th November 2016 (05.00 PM)
