Rural Development Department, Government of Tripura invites application for the position of 156 Lower division clerks and work assistants on direct recruitment basis. Eligible candidates can apply before 16th April 2016

RDD Tripura Recruitment 2016 Basic Details

Total No. of Vacancies: 156 Posts

Post Type: Group ‘C’ posts

1. Lower Division Clerk (LDC) Posts: 120 Seats

• General – 07 Seats
• SC – 35 Seats
• ST – 78 Seats

1. Work Assistant Posts: 36 Seats

• General – 24 Seats
• SC – 05 Seats
• ST – 07 Seats

Scale of Pay (per month)

Appointed candidates for LDC and Work Assistant posts will be paid 75% of the initial pay in Pay Band (PB-2) of Rs.5700/- to Rs.24000/- plus Grade Pay Rs.2200/- by the authorized department

Age Limit (as on 15.04.16)

General Quota: The age of the candidate should not be less than 18 years and should not be more than 40 years

Upper age limit will be relaxable to reserved (SC/ST) quota candidates by 05 (five) years

Educational Qualifications

For Lower Division Clerk: Candidates should have passed Madhyamik /H.S. or its equivalent examination from the recognized board And Typing in English with minimum speed of 30 words per minute and knowledge of computer operator and a certificate from recognized computer training Institute

For Work Assistant: Candidates should have passed Madhyamik /H.S. or its equivalent examination from the recognized board

Selection Methodology:

The best and dynamic aspirants will be recruited based on their performance in Interview. The District Level Selection Committees shall conduct interviews for all the districts. At last for final selection, District Level Merit lists will be prepared by the State Level Common Interview Board
