Ministry of Railways, Govt. of India, RITES Limited has given an employment notification for the recruitment of 30 Engineer (Electrical & Mechanical) vacancies on contractual basis

Age Limit

Candidates maximum age should be 32 years as on 01st February 2018. Age relaxation is applicable for SC/ ST/ OBC (NCL)/ PWD/ Ex-SM/ J&K Domicile as per rules.

Reserved category candidates (SC/ST/OBC/PWD as applicable) should have at least 50% marks in Minimum Qualification for consideration against reserved posts.

Educational Qualification

Candidates should have full time first class Degree in Electrical Engineering/ Electrical and Electronics Engineering for post-1, Degree in Mechanical Engineering for post-2.

Selection Process

Candidates have to apply online and appear for selection as per schedule mentioned in the advertisement

Candidates who have not registered online shall not be considered

Those candidates who have registered online should appear in the Written Test by producing a copy of the online application form with registration number on the date, time & place mentioned in the Advrt.

No separate intimation shall be sent to the candidates

The selection criteria shall consist of following:

Qualification – 20%

Experience – 20%

Written Test – 40%

Interview – 20%

Candidates shall have the option to appear for Interview either in Hindi or English

Relaxations & Concessions

Reservation/ relaxation/ concessions to SC/ST/OBC (NCL)/PWD/ Ex-SM/ J&K Domicile would be provided against reserved posts (where applicable) as per extant Govt. orders.

Relaxation in upper age limit to OBC (NCL)/ SC/ ST candidates shall be provided against reserved posts as per extant Govt. orders.

PWD candidates suffering from not less than 40% of the relevant disability shall only be eligible for the benefit of PWD. Such PWD candidates shall be eligible for relaxation of 10 years in upper age limit.
