Qualification  Professor   Essential: M.Ch/D.M. in concerned subject from recognized institute . Three years as Reader/Associate Professor in the concerned subject from recognized medical colleges/teaching institutes

Desirable: Minimum four research publications in indexed/national journals

 

Associate Professor  Essential: M.Ch/DM in concerned subject from recognized institute  Two years as Assistant Professor in the concerned subject from recognized medical colleges/teaching institutes

Desirable: Minimum two research publications in indexed/National journals

 

Assistant Professor

 

Essential: M.Ch/DM in concerned subject from recognized institute

Three years teaching experience from a recognized medical colleges/teaching institutions as Resident/Registrar/Demonstrator/Tutor

Senior Resident  Essential: A post graduate degree/diploma from a respective recognized university/institute

However candidates having DM/M.Ch degree from a recognized university or institute shall be preferred

 

Complete application in all respects signed by the candidate should reach the office of the Director, Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences, Ranchi-834009 on or before 25^th February, 2012 till 5.00 p.m. by registered/speed post only

 

After the due date and time i.e. 25^th February, 2012, 5.00 p.m. applications or any other documents shall not be accepted

 

The envelope should be super scribed with the post applied for

 

Separate applications should be sent, if the candidate is applying for more than one post

 

Any prior application received in this office in any form related to this advertisement shall not be considered

 

The discipline/subject for which the applications is being submitted needs to be indicated clearly

 

Self-attested photocopies of the certificates of educational qualifications and testimonials showing experience etc; and, two self attested passport size photographs should be attached with the application

 

One should be pasted on the application form and the other should be annexed to it

 

Incomplete application will not be considered

 

Two period of probation is two years from the date of joining

 

Employees of government or semi-government departments should apply through proper channel. However advance copy shall also be accepted provided no objection certificate from the employer is annexed with the application

 

The candidate must a citizen of India

 

The posts is/are whole time and private practice of any kind will not be allowed

 

Reservation roster is as per Jharkhand govt rules

 

The candidate must enclose bank draft in favour of Director, Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences, Ranchi, payable at Ranchi

 

The amount of bank draft General/BC-I/BC-II Rs 500/- (Rs five hundred) and for SC/ST candidates Rs 250/- (Rs two hundred fifty) only which is non-refundable

 

Maximum age limit exceeding 50 years for Assistant Professor, Associate Professor and 58 years for Professor

 

Relaxable for govt servant, SC/ST/BC-I/BC-II up to 5 years

 

Age limit not exceeding 35 years for Senior Resident

 

Relaxable for SC/ST/PwD/BC-I/BC-II candidates upto maximum 5 years
