Punjab Police has released a notification for Direct Recruitment of Male & Female Intelligence Assistants (In the Rank of Constables) in the Intelligence Cadre of Punjab Police. Online applications are invited from 01st September 2016 to 21st September 2016

Age Limit: Minimum age limit is 21 years and maximum 28 years as on 1st September 2016

Education Qualification for Punjab Police Recruitment 2016

Nationality: The applicant /candidate should be a citizen of India

Candidates must have a Graduate degree from a recognized University Or Institute with an ‘O’ Level Certificate of Information Technology OR B.Sc./ B.E./ B. Tech. in Information Technology or Computer Science or Information Systems OR BCA OR Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Application from a recognized University Or Institute

Selection Process for Punjab Police Recruitment 2016

Selection will be made through Physical Measurement Test, Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Written Test & Scrutiny of Documents

Application Fee

SC/ST/BC candidates are required to pay Rs.150/- while General category candidates have to pay Rs.500/- as Application Fee

Fee may be pay either online by using Net Banking/ Credit/ Debit Card or Offline through Fee Challan Form at HDFC Bank/ Punjab Police Saanjh Kendras

Reservation of Seats

According to instructions issued by the Punjab Govt. from time to time, 20% of available vacancies will stand reserved for candidates belonging to SC/ST, 10% for candidates belonging to BC, 13% seats for Ex-Serviceman candidates; provided that where an Ex-Serviceman is not available for recruitment against a reserved vacancy such a vacancy shall be filled by recruitment of the wife or one dependent child of Ex-Serviceman
