Age Limit
Candidates age should be 18 to 37 years for General category, 18 to 42 years for SC/ ST/BC category, 18 to 40 years for widows, divorcees & certain other categories of women, 18 to 45 years for applicants who are already in Govt. Service, 18 to 47 years for PH candidates as on 01st January 2016
Age relaxation is applicable as per rules
Nationality
A candidate shall be: (a) a Citizen of India; or b) Citizen of Nepal; or c) Subject of Bhutan; or Tibetan refugee who came over to India before the 01st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India; or e) A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka and East African countries of Kenya, Uganda and United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar) Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India
Provided that a candidate belonging to categories (b), (c), (d) and (e) shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of Punjab in the Dept. of Home Affairs and Justice
Educational Qualification
Manager: Candidates should possess B.Sc (Agriculture) Fist Division & M.Sc Agriculture /Horticulture) or; B.Tech (Agriculture Engg) First Division & M.Tech (Agriculture Engg); or B.Sc (Agriculture)/B.Tech (Agriculture Engineering) first Division & MBA
Executive (A/cs): Candidates should possess B.Com with minimum 2nd Division and minimum 6 months diploma in Accountancy on Tally and Computer Language
Executive (T): Candidates should possess B.Sc (Agriculture) 1st Division
Junior Scale Stenographer: Candidates should possess Graduation from a recognized University or Institution, and Candidates should possess at least 120 hours course with hands on experience in the use of personal Computer on IT in office productivity applications or Desktop Publishing Applications from Govt. recognized institution or a reputed institution, which is ISO 9001 certified
Sub Inspector (Presently Fertilizer Clerk): Candidates should possess B.Sc (Agriculture)
Junior Storekeeper: Candidates should possess 10+2 & 2 years certificate course in Agriculture
Technical Assistant: Candidates should possess 10+2 & 2 years certificate course in Agriculture
Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on skill test & written test.
Application Fee
Candidates should pay Rs.750/- (Non-Refundable) for General category & Rs.375/- (Non-Refundable) for SC/ ST category (in favour of “Coordinator – PAICL” payable at Patiala), go to the nearest branch of State Bank of Patiala and deposit the requisite application fee using this pay-in-slip on next working day
How to Apply
Eligible candidates can apply online through the website www.thapar.edu from 25th April 2016 to 25th May 2016 up to 05.00 PM and send the hard copy of online application along with self-attested relevant documents, two passport size photographs, bank deposit slip in original, in an envelope should be super-scribed as “Application Form for the PAICL Recruitment” to In-charge, PAICL-Cell, Thapar University, Patiala-147004 through Registered Post/Courier on or before 30th May 2016 up to 05.00 PM
