The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection has announced that the new opening to be filled by banks in 2014-15 will be based on new recruitment policies unveiled earlier this year.
The public sector banks are likely to recruit over 50,000 clerks and officers during the financial year 2014-15 and the process for the same has already began.

“Vacancies for 2014-15 are to be filled through subsequent rounds of common exams and interviews.” stated Anup Bhatacharya, Director, IBPS told Business Line in July, this year
“The existing candidates, if qualified under PO-II or the clerical common written exams, will not be considered for recruitment for vacancies under 2014-15. They will have to write the exams again subject to eligibility,’’ Bhatacharya added.
Till the last recruitment drive, the IBPS was conducting two separate common written examinations for the hiring of clerks and probationary officers in 20 public sector banks.
