Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (PGCIL), Western Region Transmission System-II invites applications from eligible candidates for the recruitment of 76 Diploma Trainee, Chemist, Junior Technician Trainee Posts for POWERGRID.

2. Diploma Trainee (Civil) 12 Posts
3. Diploma Trainee (Electronics & Communication) 03 Posts

5. Junior Technician Trainee (Electrical) 10 Posts

Age Limit: Candidates upper age limit is 27 years for S.No-01, 02, 03 & 05, 28 years for S.No-04 as on 16th August 2016. Age relaxation is applicable up to 05 years for SC/ ST & 03 years for OBC (NCL) candidates as per Govt. rule

Educational Qualification for the application for PGCIL recruitment

Diploma Trainee (Electrical): Diploma in Electrical Engineering from recognised Technical Board/ Institute with minimum 70% marks for General/OBC (NCL) candidates and pass marks for SC/ST/PwD Candidates

Diploma Trainee (Civil): Diploma in Civil Engineering from recognised Technical Board/ Institute with minimum 70% marks for General/OBC (NCL)/ST candidates and pass marks for SC/PwD Candidates

Diploma Trainee (Electronics & Communication): Diploma in Electronics & Communication Engineering from recognised Technical Board/Institute with minimum 70% marks for General/ OBC (NCL)/ST candidates and pass marks for SC candidates

Chemist: Post Graduation Degree in Chemistry (Full Time Course)

Jr. Technician Trainee (Electrical): ITI (Electrical) pass in Electrician Trade from recognizsed Technical Board/ Institute

Stipend & Pay Scale for PGCIL Diploma trainee recruitment

1. a) Diploma Trainee: Stipend of Rs.16500/- per month during training period. After completion of training candidates will be regularizsed as Junior Engineer Gr-IV (S1) in the Pay Scale Rs. 16000–35500/-(IDA)
2. b) Junior Technician Trainee (Electrical): Stipend of Rs.11000/- per month through training period. On successfully completion of training to be regularised as Junior Technician in the pay scale of Rs.11500-26000
3. c) Chemist: Pay Scale of Rs.12500-27500/-

Selection Process for PGCIL Jr Technician Trainee recruitment

Selection will be made through Written Test (Objective Type) which will consist of Professional Knowledge Test, Supervisory Aptitude Test & General Aptitude Test. Qualified candidates in Written Test shall be called for Trade Test (wherever applicable) and Pre-Employment medical examination on Category wise merit basis

Application Fee for  PGCIL Jr Technician Trainee recruitment

Candidates have to pay Rs.300/- for the post Diploma Trainees, Rs.200/- for the post Chemist & Jr. Technician Trainee through online by using Internet banking/ Debit Card (Visa or Masters) / Credit Card (Visa or Masters) / Bank Challan

No fee for PwD/SC/ST/Ex-Serviceman/Departmental Candidates
