NTPC SAIL POWER COMPANY LIMITED NSPCL is a leading joint venture corporation of two Maharatnas – SAIL and NTPC Limited. At present NSPCL has 4 Power Plants at 3 locations viz. Durgapur, Bhilai & Rourkela and extension is under progress for 2X20 MW power plant at Durgapur and 1X250 MW power plant at Rourkela
 
 
NSPCL has also ventured toward solar power generation and has intentions of building 200 MWp at SAIL Units. NSPCL has been an outperformer since its inception and has been consistently paying the dividend to the promoters

Age Limit
 
 
Candidate’s upper age limit should be 27 as on last date of online application. Age relaxation is admissible is 05 years for SC/ ST, 03 years for OBC (NCL), 10 years PWD-General, 13 years for PWD-OBC and 15 years for PWD-SC/ ST candidates as per rules
 
 

Eligibility

 
 
Candidates should possess Full time Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology/ AMIE with not less than 65% marks, taking average of all the Years, irrespective of the weightage given to any particular year by the Institute/ University. Final year/ semester students are also eligible however; they have to obtain at least 65% marks in their engineering degree with respective discipline such as Electrical/ Mechanical/ Instrumentation/ Electronics Engineering. Selection Process
 
 
Eligible candidates should have appeared for Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE)-2017. Based on the GATE-2017 marks and requirements, candidates will be short listed for Personal Interview. Candidates need to secure minimum qualifying marks in the personal interview before being considered in the merit list
 
 
The final merit list will be prepared based on 85% weightage of GATE-2017 marks and 15% weightage of Personal Interview marks
 
 
Please note that for EET 2017 recruitment GATE Scores of 2017 will only be valid
 
 
Pay Scale
 
 
Candidates will be paid a salary of Rs. 20600-3%-46500 at the basic pay of Rs. 20600/-during one-year training. Thereafter after absorption, candidates will be placed in the E1 grade in the pay scale of Rs. 20600-3%-46500 after one increment over the basic pay of Rs 20600/-
 
 
Besides basic pay candidates will also be paid Dearness Allowance, other perquisites & allowances, terminal benefits etc. as per company rules in force

Applicants required to pay of Rs. 150/- for General/ OBC category through online or through various modes available on State Bank Collect like Internet Banking/ Debit Card. etc. SC/ST/ PWD/XSM category candidates need not pay the registration fee

Eligible candidates, who have appeared in GATE 2018 and possess a valid GATE Score need to apply online through the website www.nspcl.co.in from 19th September 2017 at 11.00 hrs to 10th October 2017 midnight
 
 
Candidates should ensure that the GATE-2017 registration number (mentioned on the GATE 2017 admit card) is filled up correctly. Other details should match the details in GATE Admit card.
