Neelachal Ispat Nigam Limited (NINL) invites applications for the recruitment of 61 Operator-Cum-Technician & Manager/Senior Manager for 2014 session.
Eligible candidates can attend the interview from 13th to 16th October 2014
Neelachal Ispat Nigam Limited (NINL) – a company promoted by MMTC Ltd. (a government of India enterprise), Industrial Promotion and Investment Corporation of Orissa Limited (IPICOL) and other Govt agencies has set up an 1.1 million ton integrated Iron and Steel plant at Kalinga Nagar, Duburi, dist. Jajpur, Orissa
Outstanding professionals both in executive and non executive cadre are required for plant site and other locations for the following positions:

1) Manager/Sr. Manager (Refractory): Degree in Ceramic/Refractory Engineering; Experience: The candidate must have minimum 10/13 years of work experience in an integrated steel plant having facilities like Continuous Casting, BOF converter, Lime and Dolomite Plant, Mixer etc. Candidates should have experience in operation and maintenance of refractory lining in converters
2) Manager/Sr. Manager (Quality Control): Post Graduate in Chemistry or Degree in Chemical Engineering from recognized institute/ university; Experience: Minimum 10/13 years experience in quality control department of a steel plant having expertise knowledge of process control in steel making
3) Manager/Sr. Manager (LHF Operation): Degree in Metallurgy /Mechanical Engineering from recognized institute/ university; Experience: Minimum 10/13 years experience in quality control department of a steel plant having expertise knowledge of process control in steel making
4) Manager/Sr. Manager (Lime-Dolo Plant): Degree in Metallurgy Mechanical Engineering from recognized institute/ university; Experience: Minimum 10/13 experience in operation of Lime- dolo Plant with expertise knowledge in the areas in a large Lime- dolo Plant
5) Operator-cum-Technician: Candidates should have completed Matric with ITI in relevant trade; Experience: The candidate must have minimum 6 years of experience in operation of 80T or more capacity cranes handling liquid metals in steel industry
6) Operative-cum-Sr. Technician: Candidates should have completed B.Sc (Hons) in Chemistry and preferably M.Sc in Chemistry with Ist Division; Experience: The candidate must have minimum 6 years of experience in quality control in any metallurgical unit preferably ferrous industries. Experience in water & industrial effluent analysis desirable
7) Manager/Senior Manager: Candidates should have a degree in Ceramic/Refractory Engineering OR Post Graduation in Chemistry or degree in Chemical Engineering OR degree in Metallurgy/ Mechanical Engineering; Experience: The candidate must have minimum 6 years of experience in operation/maintenance of limedolo plant in steel industry
Age Limit: Candidates maximum age should be 39 years for Manager, 42 years for Sr Manager, 38 years for OCT as on 01st October 2014; age relaxation is applicable for SC/ST/OBC candidates
Selection Procedure: Candidates will be selected through a walk-in interview. Registration timing is from 09.30 am to 11.30 am
For PC-W1 to PC-W4
Sr. Manager – Rs 43200-3%-66000/-
Manager – Rs 36600-3%-62000/-
In addition to Basic Pay and DA, candidates selected are also entitled for Perks and Allowances (46% of Basic Pay), Employee Provident Fund, free indoor medical treatment and all other allowances and benefits as admissible as per rules of the company
For PC-W5 to PC-W9
Operative-cum-Sr. Technician (S3 grade) – Rs 9160-3%-13150/-
Operator-cum-Technician (S1 grade) – Rs 8630-3%-12080/-
Reservation & Relaxation in Age: Maximum age indicated in column 5 is as on 01st October 2014 the same is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST candidates and 3 years for OBC candidates
Maximum age limit is relaxable by 10 years for physically disabled candidates (15 years for SC/ST and 13 years for OBC)
However, for claiming the benefits of SC/ST/OBC category, candidates are required to submit a recent Caste Certificate from the appropriate authority as per proforma prescribed by Govt. of India
Application Fee: The candidate should bring with him application fee in the form of a bank draft for Rs.300/- (for PC-W1 to PC-W4) or Rs.100/- (for PC-W5 to PC-W9) drawn in favour of Neelachal Ispat Nigam Limited payable at Bhubaneswar
Bank draft will however be collected from the candidates shortlisted for interview only
Candidates belonging to SC/ST category are exempted from submitting application fee subject to submission of recent & valid caste certificate issued by the Competent Authority
Internal candidates are also exempted from submission of any Demand Draft
Travelling Expenses: Only shortlisted candidates for PC-W1 to PC-W4 will be reimbursed to and fro III A.C. train fare/ bus fare and for PC-W5 to PC-W9 II Sleeper train fare/ bus fare by shortest route for attending the interview subject to production of original ticket
