Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti, henceforth mentioned as NVS, an autonomous organization under the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Govt. of India invites online applications from Indian citizens for recruitment to the posts of Assistant Commissioner, Principal, PGTs, TGTs, Miscellaneous Teachers and TGTs (III LANGUAGE) for the year 2016.

Required Age & Pay Scale:

Assistant Commissioners: Age upto 25 years [Rs.15600-39100 with GP of Rs.7600]

Principals: Age between 35 to 45 years [Rs.15600-39100 with GP of Rs.7600]

PGT: Upper age limit 40 years [Rs.9300-34800 with GP of Rs.4800]

TGT: Upper age limit 35 years [Rs.9300-34800 with GP of Rs.4600]

Miscellaneous Teachers: Maximum upto 35 years [Rs.9300-34800 with GP of Rs.4600]

Third Language: Maximum upto 35 years [Rs.9300-34800 with GP of Rs.4600]

Selection Procedure for Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti Recruitment 2016

Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of their performance in written exam and interview put together. The Samiti reserves the right to decide the cut off marks in written exam and interview separately

The decision of the Samiti about the mode of selection to the above posts and eligibility conditions of the applicants for interview shall be final and binding. No correspondence will be entertained in this regard. However, in the case of TGTs, Miscellaneous Teachers (Librarian) and TGTs (III Language), the selection to the post will be done on the basis of the performance of the candidates in the written exam only

However, the mode of selection whichever so for all the above posts will be the sole discretion of Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti and may be changed

The centre for the written exam for the post of Assistant Commissioner and principals will be at Delhi Only

Candidates are required to have a valid personal email ID. It should be kept active during the currency of this recruitment. The Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti through its exam-conducting agency may send call letters for written test, interview etc. through the registered email ID or the same may be downloaded from the designated portal. Under no circumstances, he/she should share/ mention email ID to/ or of any other person

In case, a candidate does not have a valid personal email ID, he/she should create his/ her new email ID before applying Online
