Application form for Recruitment of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) 2014

Applications are invited for the award of six Junior Research Fellowships (Biochemistry Division – 2 nos, Physical Chemistry Division – 2 nos and Agriculture Chemistry Division – 2 nos)

A candidate can apply in one division only

Last date for submission of application is 15th November 2014

General Instructions for recruitment of Research Fellows (JRF) in Chemistry disciplines

Educational Qualification:

1. a) The candidate must be M.Sc in Chemistry/ Physical Chemistry for JRF in Physical Chemistry
2. b) The candidate must be M.Sc in Biochemistry for JRF in Biochemistry
3. c) The candidate must be M.Sc in Agriculture Chemistry/ Chemistry for JRF in Agriculture Chemistry
4. d) The candidate must be UGC/CSIR-NET qualified

Selection

The selection will be made on the basis of interview of short listed CSIR/ UGC – NET qualified candidates

Fellowship

Fellowship as JRF for the first two years shall be Rs.12000/- per month and on the basis of assessment of research progress as SRF, fellowship shall be Rs.14000/- per month

The total tenure as JRF and SRF shall not exceed four years

The age limit shall be below 30 years as on last date of submission of application (relaxation upto 05 years for SC/ ST candidates)

All JRF will be provided hostel accommodation and will not be eligible for drawing HRA

Download Application Form from our website and fill up all entries; application form completed in all respect with attested copies of the marks sheets/certificates for educational qualifications & age proof shall be sent to Director, National Sugar Institute, Kalyanpur, Kanpur-208017 and should be reached here on or before 15th November 2014

The Application Form must be sent by Registered /Speed post only along with a Demand Draft (D/D) for Rs.200/- drawn in favour of Director, National Sugar Institute, Kanpur payable at Kanpur

Institute holds no responsibility for postal delay and shall not entertain any query in this regard

The selection will be made on the basis of Interview of short listed candidates

The short listed candidates will be individually informed about the date and time of Interview to be held at the Institute

The last date for receiving completed application form in the dept is: 15th November 2014
