National Hydroelectric Power Corporation (NHPC) Limited has published a notification for the recruitment of 130 Trainee Engineer (Civil, Safety), Trainee Officer (Finance), Medical Officer, Trainee Officer (Law, PR, HR, Environment), Assistant Rajbhasha Officer and Junior Engineer (Mechanical, Civil & Electrical) posts on special recruitment drive (SRD) to fill up backlog of SC/ST/OBC (NCL)/ PwD and Current year vacancies. The notification for National Hydroelectric Power Corporation NHPC Recruitment 2015 has been announced.

Educational Qualification

For Post.No- I1: Candidates should possess full-time Bachelor Degree in Engineering/Technology/ B.Sc (Engineering), Degree in Civil Engineering from recognized Indian University/ Institute

For Post.No- I2: Graduation with CA from Institute of Chartered Accountants of India/ CWA or CMA from Institute of Cost Accountant of India

For Post.No- I3: MBBS Degree with valid registration; candidates should have relevant experience

Age Limit

Candidates applying for the NHPC Recruitment 2016 should attain below Age limits as on 30th November 2015

Upper Age Limit for Post No.I1 to I5 & II1 to II3, II5: 30 years

Upper Age Limit For Post No.II4: 33 years

Upper Age Limit For Post No.I6: 35 years

Age relaxation is applicable upto 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC, 10 years for PwD-General, 13 years for PwD-OBC and 15 years for PwD-SC/ST candidates as per rules

Selection Process

Candidates will be selected based on written test and interview. List of eligible candidates called for interview will be made available at www.nhpcindia.com and will also be e-mailed to such candidates

The final selected candidates will be offered “Officer of Appointment”, for the post of Junior Engineer selection shall be based on merit of written test

Application Fee

Candidates need to pay Application Fee to be deposited with pay-in-slip at any authorised State Bank of India Branch to collect the registration fee in a specially opened Account No. 31713133703 at CAG Branch, New Delhi, on behalf of NHPC

For OBC Candidates: Rs.250/-

For SC/ST/PwD candidates: No Fee

Eligible Candidates can apply through online for the NHPC Recruitment 2016 at the official website www.nhpcindia.com from 05th December 2015 to 18th December 2015 with valid e-mail ID

Candidates belonging to General and OBC (NCL) category are required to pay a non-refundable fee of Rs.250/-; the SC/ST/PwD category candiates need not pay the registration fee
