Educational Qualification for KCCB Clerk / Computer Operator Jobs:

Gr-III Officer (General Candidates): Graduation or equivalent with 50% marks or Commerce Graduate with 50% marks from a University recognized by State/ Central Government with Computer Knoledge

SC/ST/OBC & PwD Candidates: Graduate or equivalent with 50% marks or commerce graduate with 45% marks from university recognized by the State/Central Govt. with computer knowledge

Gr. IV- Clerk: Candidates must possess 10+2 with at least 50% marks or Graduate/ Post Graduate in any discipline and should have knowledge of Computer

Grade-IV Computer Operator: Graduate in any stream with PGDCA of one year/ BCA from recognized University. Working knowledge of office automation activities like word processing, data handing and basic network & troubleshooting

Age Limit

The applicant should be between 18 and 45 years as on last date of submission of application forms. The upper age limit is relaxed by 05 years for candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/WFF (UR)/Persons with Disabilities (UR) and the relaxation in the age limit to the Ex-man candidates shall be as per State Govt. guidelines

Selection Procedure

The selection will be based on written test and interview. The written test will be of multiple-choice objective type; the examination will be on Test of Reasoning, English, Language, Numerical Ability/ Quantitative Aptitude, General Knowledge/Financial Awareness, Computer & Clerical Aptitude

Hence, it is necessary that applicants should furnish only accurate, full and correct information; the final decision of selection will be at the sole discretion of the KCCB Management

Exam Fee

Rs.600/- for General category and Rs.400/- for SC/ST/OBC/PHH (Service charges & Service Tax if applicable will be charged extra by the Bank)

Mode of Payment

Applicants may submit their prescribed application fee through Computer Generated challlan by depositing the prescribed fee in designated Banks in favour of the Secretary, HP Board of School Education, Dharamshala

In case an applicant intends to appear in more than one post he/she shall have to submit separte online application and pay the fee for each post
