Indian Oil Corporation Ltd. (IOCL) has introduced a notification regarding recruitment of Jr. Engineering Assistant & Other posts. Eligible candidates can apply on the link given below on or before 05th December 2016.

Name of the Post:

  1. Jr. Engineering Assistant – IV (Production) [35 Posts]
  2. Jr. Engineering Assistant – IV (Power & Utilities – Operations & Maintained) [11 Posts]
  3. Jr. Engineering Assistant – IV (Mechanical-Fitter-cum-Rigger) [13 Posts]
  4. Jr. Quality Control Analyst – IV [01 Post]

Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit

Minimum 18 years and maximum 26 years as on 31st October; relaxation in age by 5 years for SC candidates 3 years for OBC candidates for post code 120, 121 and 123

Age Relaxation shall be given to the candidates to the extent of period of experience/ apprenticeship training period (as notified in the advertisement)

Education Qualification

[Regular Full Time Course only from Indian Recognized Institutes/University]

For Jr. Engineering Asst Post.: Candidates should possess Diploma in Chemical refinery, Petrochemical, Engineering or B.Sc. Math, Physics, Chemistry or Industrial Chemistry. 01 year post qualification experience in operation of pump house, Fired, Heater, Compressor etc

For Operation & Maintenance Post: Candidates should possess three years Diploma in Electrical Engineering, 01 years experience in operation Maintenance of power Generators, Gas turbines cooling etc.

For Mechanical Fitter cum Rigger: Candidates should possess 03 years Diploma in Mechanical Eng., 02 years experience in Matrix with ITI Fitter, Boilers, Gas seals, etc

For Quality Control Analyst: Candidates should possess B.Sc. with Physics, Chemistry, & Mathematics, one year HPLC, XRF, WDXRF etc; full time regular course from a recognized Institute/University with minimum of 45% marks in aggregate for General, OBC and ST candidates and 40% in case of SC/PWD candidates against reserved positions

Selection Procedure

The selection methodology will comprise Written Test and Skill /Proficiency / Physical Test (Qualifying nature). The candidates will have to obtain minimum qualifying marks in written test (40 for General / OBC/ST candidates and 35% for SC/PWD candidates against reserved positions)

Selection will be based on Written Test of 3 hours duration followed by Skill/Proficiency/Physical Test

Application Fee

Application Fee for General & OBC Candidates Have to Pay Rs.100/- through Demand Draft in Favour of Indian Oil Corporation Limited payable at SBI Baholi, Panipat (Brach Code-8706). SC/ST candidates are exempted from payment of application fee
