Indian Army Recruitment 2018 for Soldier Posts

 
Indian Army has published a notification for the recruitment of Soldier General Duty & Soldier Technical vacancies. Eligible candidates (for all districts of Meghalaya) may attend the recruitment rally from 11th January 2018 to 13th January 2018 at Assam police Central Training Institute Ground Panikhaiti (Guwahati). Eligibility Criteria

 
Age Limit

Candidates age limit should be between 17 1/2 to 21 years (i.e. candidates should be born between 01st October 1996 to 01st April 2000) for Post 1, 17 1/2 to 23 years (i.e. candidates should be born between 01st October 1994 to 01st April 2000) for Post 2 to 7 as on 06th January 2018
 
Educational Qualification

Candidates should have Passed 10th Class Pass minimum 33% marks in each subject with overall aggregate of 45% or 12th class simple pass for Post 1, 12th class pass in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Maths and English with 50% marks in aggregate and 40% marks in each subject for Post 2 with relevant sports qualification
 
Selection Process

Candidates will be selected based on Medical Examination & written Test

Screening Medical Exam: As per medical specifications

Written Test: Date, Time: and loc will be intimated to affected candidates through issue of admit cards during the rally
 

Application Procedure

 
Eligible candidates may apply online through the website www.joinindianarmy.nic.in and attend the recruitment rally along with admit card, sports certificate and all other relevant certificates mentioned in notification from 11th January 2018 to 13th January 2018

Documents for Gorkha Candidates. Gorkha Certificate issued by village Sarpanch/community or local Gorkha organization (approved by the state government) and an affidavit (on non-judicial stamp paper of Rs.10/-) issued by notary public. Gorkha caste certificate issue by Gorkhali Sudhar Sabha (GSS) Garhi Cantt, Dehradun for recruitment of Indian Domicile Gorkhas will be honoured
