IFSR Research Associate and Senior Research Fellowship Recruitment 2016 for YP-I & YP-II Posts

lCAR – Indian Institute of Farming Systems Research (IIFSR) has invited applications from eligible candidates for the recruitment of Research Associate (RA), Senior Research Fellow (SRF), YP-I & YP-II vacancies for various projects on temporary & contract basis.

Eligible candidates may walk in interview on 11, 12 & 13th May 2016 at 10.00 am

Emoluments

For (RA): (i) Rs 40,000/- + Accommodation/HRA per month for doctoral degree holders (ii) Rs 38000/- + Accommodation/HRA per month for Master Degree Holders

For (SRF): (i) Rs 25000/ + Accommodation/HRA per month for 1st & 2nd year (ii) Rs 28000/- per month for 3rd year

For YP-I: Rs 15000/- Upper age limit minimum 21 and maximum 35 years

For YP-II: Rs 25000/- Upper age limit minimum 21 and maximum 35 years

Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit: Candidates age should be 40 years for men, 45 years for women for post 1 & post 2, between 21-35 years for post 3 & post 4. Age relaxation is applicable as per GOI rules

Educational Qualification:

For Senior Research Fellow: Candidates should possess M.Sc (Agri) in Soil Science/Agronomy from a recognized University with 4 years /5 years of Bachelor’s. Candidates having Postgraduate degree in Basic Science with 3 year’s Bachelor’s degree and two years Master’s degree (in Soil Science) should have passed National Eligibility Test.

For Research Fellow: Candidates should possess PhD degree in Agronomy/Horticulture Computer Science and Engg or Master Degree in Agronomy /Computer Science & Engineering with 4 or 5 years of Bachelor degree having first division or 60% marks or equivalent grade point average with 2 years of research experience as evidenced from fellowship /Associate ship/Training /Other research related engagements.

For YP-I: Candidates should possess Graduate Agriculture/Horticulture.

For YP-II: Candidates should possess M.Tech/ME in soil water conservation Engg/Agril. Engineering /M.Sc (Ag) Agronomy.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on personal interview.
