ICICI Bank Sales Officer Recruitment Process announced

ICICI Bank has announced the recruitment process of Sales Officers .  ICICI Bank, one of India’s largest banking and financial service providers, has announced details of the forthcoming sales officer recruitment drive.

For this, the company is inviting applications from all interested candidates with minimum educational qualifications equivalent to Class XII alongside 2 years of experience, or graduation in any stream. The candidates must belong to the age group of 20 to 26 years.

Selected candidates will be responsible for achieving monthly sales targets specifically assigned to him/her for a diverse range of products and services in offering from ICICI Bank. Apart from that the candidates will be also tasked with other responsibilities such as,

  • Cross sell newly launched products and service opportunities
  • Market mapping, competitor mapping and customer mapping in the geography/territory assigned
  • Follow up new referrals and leads to generate new business opportunities
  • Identify sales prospects in a proactive manner and do business development in the geography or territory assigned.
  • Resolve relevant customer complaint and queries
  • Maintain status reports periodically, including daily activity reports.


ICICI Bank Sales Academy

There is a Certification in Retail Banking Sales Management under the ICICI Bank Sales Academy, designed specifically to help young and bright graduates in building a career within the sales domain. The entire curriculum was designed by ICICI with the sole vision of grooming aspirants for adequately and successfully handling the bank’s front line sales affairs.Successful completion of this certification makes candidates automatically eligible to join ICICI’s sales force.

The curriculum is designed to:

  • Help candidates understand the work culture at ICICI
  • Help candidates groom their sales an presentation skills
  • Increase awareness about customer service orientation
  • Provide training on product and process knowledge
  • Groom business etiquettes
  • Provide training on internal rules and regulations

The duration of the course is four weeks.

Applicants need to register themselves using the ICICI careers website ( www.icicicareers.com ). Meanwhile, applicants are also allowed to refer others to be part of the selection process.

The selection procedure of the sales officer academy will comprise of a multiple phases, including:

  • Sales profiler – evaluation of sales orientation of individual applicants
  • Personal interview – evaluation of aptitude of candidates through detaile personal interview
  • Invitation letter – all successful candidates will be provided an invitation letter containing important information including location of training premise, joining date of the academy and the state of the final posting.

All candidates are required to carry original documents during the test and personal interview. The shortlisted candidates who want to join the academy will have to submit the original copies of the following documents:

  1. Graduation passing certificate or marksheet
  2. Class 10 passing certificate or marksheet
  3. Class12 passing certificate or marksheet

Candidates will be handed over an acknowledgement slip after they submit the aforementioned documents.
