Hindustan Paper Corporation Limited (HPCL), inviting applications for undergoing one year Apprenticeship training under the Apprentices Act 1961 as Amended in 1973 & 1986 at its production unit at Nagaon Paper Mill, Kagajnagar, Assam

iii) Technician (Vocational) Apprentices – Selected candidates will be paid Rs.1970/- pm
Category-I: Engineering Graduate Apprentices
The applying candidate should hold a degree in engineering or technology granted by a statutory university
A degree in engineering/ technology granted by an institution empowered to grant such degree by an act of parliament
Category-II: For Technical (Diploma holder) Apprentices
The applying candidate should hold a degree in engineering/ technology granted by a state council or board of technical education established by a state government
Category-III: Technician (Vocational) Apprentices
A certification in vocational course in respective subject involving two years of study after the completion of the secondary stage of school education recognized by All India council for technical education
Age Limit: Not less than 14 years and upper age limit is 30 years as on 01st January 2015; the upper age limit is relaxable by 5 yrs for SC/ST candidate, 3 years for OBC candidate and 10 yrs for Persons with Disability
Reservation: The provisions of Govt. directives for engagement of Apprentices in SC/ST/OBC/PWD Category will be applicable
Selection: Selection of shortlisted candidates will be made through test/ personal interview. Schedule for test/ interview of shortlisted candidates likely to be held tentatively during last week of January 2015 will be published in the website
No call letters or other communication will be made in this regard
Engineering graduate or diploma holder or vocational certificate holder who had already gone under training or having job experience for a period of one year or more after acquiring required qualifications, shall not be eligible for being engaged as an apprentice under the Act
Candidates who have secured 60% and above marks in their Final Examination in 2014-2015 will be preferred
Free of cost medical check-up at HPC, NPM Hospital will be made
No travel expenses will be paid at the time of selection test / interview as well as at the time of joining training
No transport facility or conveyance allowance will be provided
No assurance of any further extension / employment after completion of training
Only Indian Nationals are eligible to apply
