The notification for Himachal Pradesh HP Police Recruitment 2016 for 1500 Constables has been announced. Himachal Pradesh Police Department has invited applications for the recruitment of 1500 Constable Vacancies for both male and female candidates.

Eligible bonafide Himachali candidates with valid registration in any of the Employment Exchanges of HP may apply in the prescribed application format on or before 15th March 2016 by 05.00 pm

Pay Scale

HP Police Department in the pay scales of Rs.5910-20200+Grade Pay Rs.1900/- (initial start Rs.7800/-) and after 8 years of regular service Pay Bank will be Rs.10300-34800+Rs.3200 G.P as per H.P. Govt rules

Age Limit

Candidates age should be between 18-23 years General, 18-25 years for SC/ ST, OBC, Gorkhas as on 01st February 2016. Age relaxation is applicable as per rules

Educational Qualifications:

Candidates should possess 10+2 with relevant physical standards

Selection Process:

Candidates will be selected based on physical standards, physical efficiency test, written examination, personality test/ interview, medical examination, verification of character & antecedent

Processing Fee: Candidates have to pay Rs.120/- (Rs.30/- for SC/ST/OBC/IRDP candidates) in the shape of Bank Draft/ IPO to be drawn in favour of the concerned District Superintendent of Police payable at concerned places as given in the notification

How to Apply

Eligible candidates may send their application in the prescribed format, fee, 5 latest and passport size photographs (1 have to be stapled on the application form, 3 have to be stapled on the annexure, 1 spare photograph) by post to the Office of the concerned District Superintendent of Police 15th March 2016 by 05.00 PM
