Gujarat Environment Management Institute (GEMI) has issued a recruitment notification for the posts of Assistant Environmental Engineers, and Clerks cum Typists 2016.
Eligible candidates can apply offline on or before 30th March 2016

Assistant Environmental Engineer: Candidate should posses a Bachelor Degree in Engineering from a University or Institute recognized by State/Central Govt. with first class in the Environmental Engineering or Civil Engg with environment as elective or Chemical Engineering with environment as elective
Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering/Environmental Management shall be preferable. Should have the basic Knowledge of Computer Application as prescribed in Gujarat Civil Services Classification and Recruitment (General) Rules 1967, as amendment from time to time
Should possess adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi
For Clerk cum Typist: Candidate should posses a Bachelor Degree from a Recognized University or Institute in Commerce, Arts, Law, Business Administration or Science or Candidate should have the basic knowledge of Computer Application as prescribed in Gujarat Civil Services Classification and Recruitment (General) Rules 1967, as amendment from time to time
Should possess adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi; candidates having Bachelor’s degree in disciplines other than above shall be ineligible
Should not be less than 18 years and more than 35 of years of age
For General Category Candidates Rs.500/- per application, For General Category Female Candidates & SC, ST & SEBC Candidates Rs.250/- per application
Applications are invited online only; applicants are requested to submit their application from 15th March 2016 to 30th March 2016
The applicants who do not fulfil the required qualification will be rejected
The candidates shall furnish formula/method approved by recognized University/Institute for calculation of percentage, when the University does not give percentage of marks
