Gas Authority of India Limited (GAIL) (India) Limited, New Delhi has invited applications for the recruitment of 233 Junior Engineer, Accountant, Superintendent, Chemist, Foreman, Assistant, Accounts Assistant, Marketing Assistant, Officer vacancies for work-centers/units located in various States
Eligible candidates can apply online from 06th October 2016 at 11.00 hrs to 05th November 2016 at 18.00 hrs

Age Limit
Candidate’s upper age limit should be 45 years for Post 1, 2, 16, 32 years for Posts 3 to 12, 30 years for Posts 13 to 15 as on 05th November 2016
Age relaxation is applicable by 05 years for SC/ST category candidates, 03 years for OBC (NCL), 10 years for PWD candidates as per rules
Educational Qualification
For Junior Engineer: Diploma in Engineering in the relevant discipline with 55% marks for SC/ST candidates and 8 years post qualification experience in relevant field
For Foreman: Diploma in engineering in relevant discipline with 60% marks and two years post qualification experience in relevant field
For Junior Accountant: Intermediate or equivalent in CA/ ICWA; or Master Degree in Commerce (M.Com) with minimum 60 % marks
Candidates should be proficient in operations of personal computer and have basic knowledge & skills in computer applications (MS office etc.) in office environment
For Junior Superintendent (Human Resources): Full time Bachelor Degree of minimum 03 years duration with minimum 55% marks and Diploma in Personnel Management/Industrial Relations with minimum 55% marks
Candidates should be proficient in operations of personal computer and have basic knowledge & skills in computer applications (MS office etc.) in office environment
For Junior Chemist: Full time Master Degree (M.Sc.) in Chemistry with minimum 55% marks
For Junior Superintendent (Official Language): Full time Bachelor Degree of minimum 03 years duration in Hindi Literature with minimum 55% marks and Degree or Diploma in translation in Hindi to English and vice-versa from any recognised University or equivalent. Should have English as one of the subjects in Graduation
For Accounts Assistant: Full time Bachelor Degree of minimum 03 years duration in Commerce (B.Com) with minimum 55% marks and minimum typing speed of 35 w.p.m in English (on computer) for General & OBC (NCL) category candidates and 30 w.p.m. in English (on computer) for SC/ST and PWD category candidates (wherever typing test is not exempted for PWDs)
For Officer (Security): Full time Bachelor degree of minimum 03 years duration with minimum 60% marks. Preference will be given to the candidates with Diploma in Industrial Security
For Officer: Bachelor degree of minimum 03 years duration with minimum 60% marks with 3 years’ post qualification experience
Those who are selected for any of the above posts they will get an attractive amount per month as salary, which is mentioned below as posts wise:
E-1: Rs. 20600-46,500/-; Initial Basic Pay – Rs. 20600/-
S-7: Rs.16300-38,500/-; Initial Basic Pay – Rs. 16300/-
S-5: Rs.14, 500-36,000/-; Initial Basic Pay – Rs. 14500 /-
S-3: Rs.12500-33,000/-; Initial Basic Pay – Rs.12500/-
Pay and Allowances: Basic Pay as applicable in the grade, Variable Dearness Allowance (VDA) at the applicable rates and perks & allowances under cafeteria approach
Candidates will be selected based on Physical Endurance Test, GD, Trade Test, Skill Test, Written Test and interview
Application Fee
Candidates have to pay Rs.50/- Posts 1 to 15, Rs.200/- for Post 16 through online by using Net banking/ Card payments. No fee for SC/ ST/ PwD candidates
By any one of the following 03 modes:
(i) Net banking of any Nationalised/Private Banks
(ii) Card payments of any Nationalised/Private Banks
(iii) Other Payment Mode: Pre Acknowledgement Payment (PAP) form through State Bank of India Branch
Candidates will be required to apply online through GAIL Website www.gailonline.com. No other means/mode of application shall be accepted. Website will be open from 1100 hrs on 06th October 2016 to 1800 hrs on 05th November 2016
Candidates can apply for one post only
Before registering/applying online, candidates are advised to go through detailed instructions related to the application process The candidate should possess the following and keep the same handy while applying online:
(i) Valid email ID and mobile no
(ii) SBCollect Reference Number generated by State Bank of India
(iii) Scanned copies of self-attested recent passport size photograph of the candidate with white background (size upto 50 KB)
After submitting online application, candidate is required to download the Application Form generated by the system with unique registration number
Candidate should put his/ her signature at the space provided and keep the form with him/her for future reference
