Eligibility Criteria

 
Educational Qualifications

Technician (Diploma) Apprentice: A three-year Diploma Engineering (under State Board of Technical Education) in Civil, Computer, Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, Electrical & Electronics, Electronics & Instrumentation, Instrument Technology, Diploma in Commercial Practice. A Pass in Diploma and should not have completed more than 3 years after passing Diploma as on 31.03.2018

Trade Apprentice

1. Attendant Operator – Chemical Plant (AOCP) – B.Sc. Chemistry Main – Physics & Maths subsidiary
2. Other Trade Apprentices – ITI/ ITC Trade Certificate (NTC) in the relevant trade. A Pass in the relevant ITI/ ITC Trade (NCVT approved).

Age Limit (as on 01.01.2018.)

Not more than 23 years for Technician (Diploma) Apprentice and Other Trade Apprentices. Not more than 25 years for AOCP. Age relaxation for SC, ST, OBC and PWD candidates is allowed as per rules

PWD candidates will be considered for selection to COPA Trade and Computer discipline in Diploma category of apprentices only
 
Selection Process

The selection will be based on the following criteria:

1. i) Qualifying Examination 50%
2. ii) Written test 50% 6.

The written test (objective type) will be conducted at FACT Training Centre, Eloor, Udyogamandal near Kalamassery – Kochi and it will be of one-hour duration

Application

Diploma candidates should register themselves in the online web portal of Board of Apprenticeship Training (www.mhrdnats.gov.in) under ‘Student’ category

ITI/ ITC candidates should register themselves under Apprenticeship Registration in the online web portal of Regional Directorate of Apprenticeship Training (www.ncvtmis.gov.in / www.apprenticeship.gov.in)

Eligible candidates may appear for Written Test in person at FACT Training Centre, Eloor, Udyogamandal, Cochin to be conducted from 08th January 2018 to 13th January 2018

Candidates with student ID in Apprenticeship Training Scheme registered in the online web portal only will be permitted for the written exam
