The notification for Central Bank of India Recruitment 2016 for Credit Officers has been announced. Central Bank of India has invited applications for the recruitment of 58 Credit Officer (Chartered Accountant) vacancies in Middle Management Group (MMG), Scale II (Specialist Category). Eligible candidates may apply online from 15th January to 31st January 2016.

Eligibility Criteria

Nationality/Citizenship: A candidate must be either (i) a Citizen of India (ii) a subject of Nepal (iii) a subject of Bhutan (iv) a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before 01 Jan 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India (v) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda (formerly Tanganyika & Zanzibar), Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India

Provided that a candidate belonging to categories (ii), (iii), (iv) & (v) above shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Govt. of India

Age Limit: Candidates age should be between 20-30 years.as on 30th September 2015. Age relaxation is applicable 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC, 10-years for PwD candidates & for others as per rules

Candidates seeking age relaxation will be required to submit copies of necessary certificate(s) at the time of Interview and at any subsequent stage of the recruitment process, as required by the bank

Educational Qualifications:

Candidates should pass in final examination of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI)

Operating and working knowledge in computer systems is mandatory

The percentage marks shall be arrived at by dividing the marks obtained by the candidate in all the subjects of both groups by aggregate maximum marks in all the subjects of both

Selection Process

Candidates will be selected based on line test and/ or interview; the test will be available bilingually, i.e. English and Hindi. All questions will be objective type with five options

Other detailed information regarding the on-line examination will be given in an Information Handout, which will be made available for the candidates for download along with the call letters from the Bank’s website

Application Fee

Candidates have to pay Rs.550/- (Rs.50/- for SC/ST, PwD candidates) through online mode only by using Debit Cards (RuPay/ Visa/ MasterCard/ Maestro), Credit Cards, Internet Banking, IMPS, Cash Cards/ Mobile Wallets
