Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL) has published a notification for the recruitment of 60 Asst Executive Engineer, Asst Engineer vacancies on contract basis. BMRCL invites applications from qualified and experienced personnel for appointment to Engineering positions (Assistant Executive Engineer, Assistant Engineer) in the Project Wing. All appointments proposed will be on “contract basis” only

Total No of Posts: 60

Name of the Posts:

1. Asst. Executive Engineer: 30 Posts
2. Asst. Engineer: 30 Posts

Duration of Contract

The tenure of contract appointment will be 3 years

The contract of appointment may be terminated by either side by giving 3 months notice or by paying the contractual remuneration of three months in lieu of notice period, if the circumstances so warrant
 

Eligibility Criteria

 
Educational Qualification
I. Assistant Executive Engineer: Candidates should have BE/ B.Tech in Civil Engineering or; Minimum 8 years in large infrastructure project execution. Candidates with experience in Metro construction for Viaduct/ Stations/Underground station/ Tunneling with TBMs will be preferred

Age Limit: Candidates maximum age should be 40 years

Assistant Engineer: Candidates should have BE/ B.Tech in Civil Engineering or Diploma in Civil Engineering or Experience – candidates holding BE should have minimum experience of 5 years in construction supervision and other activities such as supervision, piling casting yard, launching of girders, U/G structures and tunneling in large infrastructure projects. Candidates with experience in metro construction will be preferred

Diploma holders should have minimum 8 years of experience construction supervision and other activities such as supervision, piling casting yard, launching of girders, U/G structures and tunneling in large infrastructure Projects. Candidates with experience in Metro construction will be preferred.

Age Limit: Candidates maximum age should be 35 years
 
Pay Scale

Assistant Executive Engineer – Rs.55860/- Per Month

Assistant Engineer – Rs.48280/- Per Month

Besides the above, employees will be extended medical and personal accident insurance cover & contribution to superannuation fund, CUG mobile facility as per rules of the Company
 
Selection Process

Selection will be through Interview by a Committee constituted by the Competent Authority

Candidates who have been shortlisted will only be called for interview. The candidates shall have to appear for interview as and when called, at their own cost. The experience is post qualification and the minimum required. Mere possession of minimum experience does not confer any right to be called for interview / selection
