Eligibility Criteria

 

Age Limit (as on 26th April 2018)

Upper Age limit 25 years for UR Candidates & For Land Ousters- 35 years.Age relaxation to OBC(NCL)/ SC/ST/PWD/XSM shall be as per govt.

Educational Qualification

Electrical – Full time regular three years Diploma in Electrical / Electrical & Electronics Engineering with minimum 70% marks

Mechanical – Full time regular three years Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with minimum 70% marks

C&I – Full time regular three years Diploma in Instrumentation/ Electronics Engineering with minimum 70% marks

Civil – Full time regular three years Diploma in Civil Engineering with minimum 70% marks

Only Pass marks required for SC/ST/PWD (where vacancies are identified) and 50% marks for Land Oustees

Relaxation for SC/ST/PWD (where vacancies are identified): Pass marks

Relaxation for Land Oustees: 50% marks

All qualifications should be from Indian Institutes recognized by BTE/AICTE / appropriate statutory authority

Reservations & Relaxations

Reservations and relaxations for SC / ST / OBC (non-creamy layer) /XSM / PWD (degree of disability 40% or above) candidates will be provided as per Govt. guidelines. Relaxations will be extended in vacancies identified for SC / ST/OBC (non-creamy layer) / PWD candidates

Data/information (including category/ type of disability) once filled in the application form and submitted, will not be allowed to be changed at a later date and no benefit of other category will be admissible later on

No registration fee will be charged from SC/ST/PWD/XSM candidates

The upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST candidates, 3 years for OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) candidates. It is relaxed by 10 years for PWD-General, 13 years for PWD-OBC and 15 years for PWD-SC/ST candidates
 

Selection Process

Eligible candidates will have to undergo two hours objective type online test. Based on the merit and requirement, the list of successful candidates for appearing in skill test will be made available at https://dtjvrecruitment.net

All such short-listed candidates will have to appear for skill test for which they have to download the admit card from the same website. No other communication will be sent to such candidates through post
 
Test Centers

The computer based online exam will be held in 06 cities i.e. Patna, Kolkata, Ranchi, Dhanbad, Jamshedpur and Muzaffarpur. Candidates have to opt/choose 3 (Three) exam cities in order of their preference

Training, Emoluments & Placement

Selected candidates will undergo training for a period of 2 years in the company in which they are placed and will be paid a consolidated stipend of Rs.15500/- per month

On successful completion of training, these candidates will be absorbed in the pay scale of Rs.15500-3%-34500 (W7 grade, Jr. Foreman / Jr. Controller / Jr. Work Assistant) in their respective company

They shall be regularized only on the rolls of their respective organization after successful completion of their training. Selected candidates shall be governed by the rules, regulations and policies of the company in which they are placed viz: BRBCL/KBUNL/NPGCL

Eligible candidates may apply online at NTPC’s website (direct link is given below) from 25th Apr 2018 03:00 PM to 16th May 2018 11:59 PM.

Eligible candidates have to apply through online registration system only. To apply visit: https://dtjvrecruitment.net. The candidates should have a valid e-mail ID and Mobile No. for applying. The site is functional for registration (Step-I) and submission of application (Step-II) from 25th Apr 2018 (15:00 hours) to 16th May 2018 (23:59 hours) and online submission of application fees (Step-III) up to 19th May 2018 (23:45 hours)

02 Candidate belonging to General/ OBC(NCL) category is required to pay a non-refundable registration fee of Rs.300/-

The SC/ST/ PWD/XSM candidates need not pay the registration fee, however, they are required to scan and upload documents in support of their SC/ST/PWD/XSM status claim
