Air India Recruitment 2018 – Air India Limited has published a notification for the recruitment of 295 Cabin Crew vacancies for its Northern Region, Delhi on fixed term contract basis.

Eligible Unmarried Indian nationals (Male/Female) can apply online from 02nd May 2018. Other details like age limit, educational qualification, selection process, application fee and how to apply are given below.
 
Vacancy Details

Air India Limited is looking for bright and energetic Indian Nationals with pleasing personality to be engaged as Male/Female Cabin Crew for its Northern Region, Delhi for the following vacancies on a fixed term contractual engagement basis, for period of five years and to maintain a wait list for future requirements:

• Number of Posts: 295 vacancies
• Male – 86 Posts.
• Female – 209 Posts

 

Important Dates

• Start Date for submission of Online Application: 12th April 2018
• Last Date for submission of Online Application: 02nd May 2018
• Tentative Date of Written Test for Experienced Cabin Crew: 06th May 2018
• Dates of Preliminary Medical Exam & Written Test of Trainee Cabin Crew will be intimated in due course

 

Eligibility Criteria

• Experienced Cabin Crew: The aspirants should have passed class 12 from a government recognised board/university.
• Trainee Cabin Crew: The aspirants should have completed graduation or passed class 12 and should have pursued three years of degree/diploma in hotel management and catering technology or travel and tourism (government recognised courses).

Age Limit

• Experienced Cabin Crew: The age of the aspirants should not exceed 35 years and must be minimum 18 years.
• Trainee Cabin Crew: The age of the aspirants should not exceed 27 years and must be minimum 18 years. Relaxation in age will be provided as per the norms.

Experience (For Experienced Cabin Crew)

• Must be presently working as Cabin Crew in a scheduled airline with minimum one year of experience as Cabin Crew and having a valid SEP for Airbus or Boeing family aircraft, as on the date of application
• However, in case of candidates working in a foreign airline and meeting the other laid down parameters of eligibility criteria, in place of SEP, candidates may produce alternate documents

 

Physical & Medical Standards

Height

• Male – Minimum 172 cms
• Female – Minimum 160 cms
• {Relaxation of 2.5 cms for SC/ST candidates & those from North East states & hilly states (Subject to domicile proof/Caste Certificate)}

BMI

• Male: Between 18 to 25
• (Body Mass Index): as specified in CAR issued by DGCA
• Female: Between 18 to 22

Vision

• Near Vision: N/5 in better eye and N/6 in worst eye.
  • Distant vision: 6/6 in one eye & 6/9 in another eye
  • Spectacles not allowed.
  • Contact lenses up to + 2D permitted

Speech

• Clear speech, no stammering, lisping. Command of the English language should be with clear understandable accent.

Language

• Fluency in English and Hindi
• Candidates having fluency in any Foreign Language of destination where Air India operates will be given preference

 

Selection Process

For Experienced Cabin Crew:

• Candidates who fulfil the above eligibility criteria for the post of Experienced Cabin Crew will be required to register themselves online and eligible candidates would be required to appear for a Preliminary Medical Exam consisting of Height and BMI check at the Test Centre in the morning and those who are declared eligible on the Medical Parameters would be require to appear for a Written Test to be held tentatively on 06th May 2018
• The time and venue of exam centre will be intimated in due course

For Trainee Cabin Crew

• Candidates who fulfil the above eligibility criteria for the post of Trainee Cabin Crew will be required to apply online. Eligible candidates will be required to appear for Preliminary Medical Exam consisting of Height and BMI check followed by Personality Assessment Round (PAR) at the venue as decided by Air India Limited
• PAR shall be conducted in phases and candidates who qualify the same will be required to appear for a Written Test

 

Application Fee

• Candidates have to pay Rs.1000 through Demand Draft in favour of Air India Limited., payable at Delhi. There is no fee for SC/ST Candidates

• Candidates who wish to apply, are advised to log on to the Career Page of our Website www.airindia.in and fill in the Online Application Format.
• Candidates can apply online through portals www.airindia.in from 12th April 2018 to 02nd May 2018
• A non-refundable Demand Draft for Rs.1000/- in favour of AIR INDIA LIMITED, payable at Delhi (as per Region applied for)
• Candidates would be required to fill the details of Demand Draft on-line and submit the same at the time of written test (Not applicable for SC/ ST candidates) along with the duly signed print out of the Application Form
