AIR Chandigarh notifies recruitment of Part Time Correspondents 2014

All India Radio (AIR), Chandigarh, invites applications for engagement of Part-Time Correspondents (PTCs) one each for Nawanshahr (Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar), Bhatinda, Kapurthala, Fatehgarh, Hisar and Fatehabad Districts of Haryana State on part time contractual basis as Revised Scheme of engagement of PTCs

Essential Qualification

1) PG Diploma / Degree in Journalism / Mass Media or Graduate with minimum 2 years Journalism experience

2) Age Limit: 24 – 45 years (as on 01st October 2014)

3) Should reside at the District Headquarter / Municipal limit in the concerned district

Desirable

1. i) Possession / Access to Camera/Equipment for television coverage
2. ii) Experience of visual coverage

iii) Knowledge of Computer and word processing

Remuneration

Monthly remuneration will be Rs.4250/- including Conveyance and Communication charges subject to satisfactory rendering of services to be certified by the RNU Head of the AIR Station

The persons already in Government service, Central/State Govt. /Administration of the U.T. or in any Public Service Undertaking (PSU) and member of any political party will not be considered for engagement as PTC
