UPSC releases IFS 2014 e-Summon Letter for Interview

Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has made available the e-Summon Letter (Interview Call letters) for the candidates who have qualified for the Personality Test of Indian Forest Service Examination (IFS Main 2014) after successfully clearing the written examination of Indian Forest Service 2014.

Successful candidates can download their e-summon letters from the UPSC’s official website (click here).

Interviews for the shortlisted candidates are scheduled for the month of February 2015.

Indian Forest Service Examination (IFS Mains) was conducted by UPSC from November 22, 2014 to December 03, 2014 in two sessions. The results were declared on December 19, 2014.

The UPSC Indian Forest Service Examination 2014 (IFS) Pattern was changed by the UPSC in the year 2013. UPSC introduced a component of screening mechanism through Civil Services (preliminary) examination. Candidates were required to appear in the Civil Services (preliminary) Examination and qualify the same for going to the second stage of Indian Forests Services Main Examination (Written and Interview).

Approximately 85 vacancies are expected to be filled through IFS Recruitment exam 2014.
