Associate Professors (Computer Science) in National Defence Academy, Khadakwasla, Pune, Ministry of Defence (OBC 01, UR 03)
The posts are suitable for Physically Challenged Persons with disability viz. Orthopedically Handicapped/Locomotor Disability/Cerebral Palsy with One Leg Affected (Right or Left) (OL) or One Arm Affected (Right or Left) (OA). The posts are Permanent.
Age: 45 Years
Essential Qualification:
Good academic record with a Ph.D. degree in Computer Science
A Master’s Degree in Computer Science with at least 55% marks or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed.
Contribution to educational innovation, design of new curricula and courses and technology mediated teaching learning process with evidence of having guided doctoral candidates and research students.
A minimum score of 300 points as stipulated in the Academic Performance Indicator (API) based Performance Based Appraisal System (PBAS) by the University Grants Commission.
Experience: Minimum of eight years’ of experience of teaching and or research in Computer Science in an academic/research position equivalent to that of Assistant Professor in a University, College or Accredited Research Institution/Industry excluding the period of Ph.D research with evidence of published work and a minimum of five publications as books and or research / policy papers.
Assistant Professors (Chemistry) in National Defence Academy, Khadakwasla, Pune, Ministry of Defence (UR-02)
Age 35 Years
Eligibility Good academic record as defined by the concerned University with at least 55% or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed at the Master’s Degree level in Chemistry from an Indian University or an equivalent degree from an accredited Foreign University.
Must have cleared National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the University Grants Commission, Council for Scientific and Industrial Research or similar test accredited by the University Grants Commission. (iii) Notwithstanding anything contained in clauses (i) and (ii) candidates who are, or have been awarded a Ph.D
Degree in accordance with the University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of Ph.D. Degree) Regulations, 2009, shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of National Eligibility Test (NET)/State Level Eligibility Test (SLET)/State Eligibility Test (SET) for recruitment and appointment of Assistant Professor or equivalent positions in Universities/ Colleges/Institutions.
National Eligibility Test (NET)/State Level Eligibility Test (SLET)/State Eligibility Test (SET) shall also not be required for such Masters Programmes in disciplines for which NET/SLET/SET is not con- ducted.
Specialists Grade-III Assistant Professors (Obstetrics and Gynecology) in Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (ST-01, SC-03, OBC- 06, UR-10)
Age: 40 Years
Eligibility
A recognized MBBS degree qualification included in the First or the Second Schedule or Part-II of the Third Schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956).
Holders of educational qualifications included in Part-II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions stipulated in sub-section (3) of section (13) of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956). (ii) Post Graduate degree in the concerned specialty or Super-specialty i.e. Doctor of Medicine (Obstetrics and Gynecology) or Master of Surgery (Obstetrics and Gynecology).
Experience At least three years teaching experience in the concerned specialty as Senior Resident or Tutor or Demonstrator or Registrar in the concerned Specialty or Super-specialty in a recognized teaching institution after obtaining the first Post graduate degree
Six Specialists Grade-III Assistant Professors (Plastic Surgery) in Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (OBC-04, UR-02)
Age: 40 Years
Eligibility
A recognized MBBS degree qualification included in the First or the Second Schedule or Part-II of the Third Schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956). Experience: At least three years teaching experience as Senior Resident or Tutor or Demonstrator or Registrar in the concerned Specialty or Super-specialty in a recognized teaching institution after obtaining the first Post graduate degree. Note-Teaching experience in any other post like the post of General Duty Medical Officer/Medical Officer shall not be considered for eligibility purpose for recruitment to teaching posts.
Director (Institute) in Weavers’ Service Centres and Indian Institutes of Handloom Technology, Office of the Development Commissioner for Handlooms, Ministry of Textiles (UR-01)
Age: 50 Years
Qualification: Degree in Textile Technology or Textile Chemistry or Textile Processing or Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Technology with specialization in Textile Technology or Textile Processing or Textile Chemistry from a recognized University or Institute.
Experience: Ten years’ experience in textile weaving or processing unit or textiles mill, out of which five years experience should be as a Dyeing or Bleaching or Processing Master/Spinning or Weaving Master/Shift in-charge/Manager in a textile production establishment or Corporation or Institute and five years teaching experience as a Professor/Reader/Lecturer in Textile Chemistry/Bleaching/Dyeing/Printing/ Finishing in a recognized Institute.
Sixty-five Assistant Public Prosecutors in Directorate of Prosecution, Home Department, Govt. of NCT of Delhi (SC-09, OBC-21, UR-35)
Age: 30 Years
A degree in Law of a recognized University or equivalent. Equivalent referred may be treated as LLB.
Experience: Three years’ experience at the Bar.
How to Apply for UPSC 2015 Recruitment:
Candidates must apply online through the website www.upsconline.nic.in.
Applications received through any other mode would not be accepted and summarily rejected.
Candidates who wish to apply for more than one post should apply separately for each post and pay the fee for each post in the prescribed manner.
After submitting the Online Recruitment Application (ORA), the candidates are required to take out a printout of the finally submitted Online Recruitment Application.
Candidates are not required to submit to the Commission either by post or by hand the printouts of their online applications or any other document. They will be required to bring along with them the printouts of their online applications and the documents mentioned below if called for interview.
The applicants are advised to submit only single Online Recruitment Application for each post; however, if somehow, if he/she submits multiple Online Recruitment Applications for one post, then he/she must ensure that Online Recruitment Application with the higher “Application Number” is complete in all respects including fee. The applicants, who submit multiple Online
Recruitment Applications, should note that only the Online Recruitment Application with higher “Application Number” shall be entertained by the Commission and fee paid against one “Application Number” shall not be adjusted against any other “Application Number”.
The candidates are advised to submit the Online Recruitment Application well in advance without waiting for the closing date.
Candidates shortlisted for interview on the basis of the information provided in the online applications submitted by them will be required to send self attested copies of documents/relevant certificates in support of the claims made in the application as and when demanded by the Commission.

Date for determining the eligibility of all candidates in every respect shall be the prescribed closing date for submission of online recruitment application (ORA).
